with that train of thought, kreb's imaginary buggy is the lightest.

ummm... that's so far removed at this point I'm not sure it's viable

My current setup on the Jeep is somewhat on the light side since it's pretty stripped down. Not for long though.

the new guy aaron that went to 47's sami buggy will prolly rival scotti's for weight.

bronco weighs 5500, certainly not as much a diesel suburban though.

The diesel aint got nuthin to do with it son :flipoff2:

Pigpen's fairly heavy, I would guess around 5k. Deffinately nowhere near burban sized though.

I bet the whole drivetrain can't weigh more than 500 #'s, the axles another 500#? Think the Frame/tires/body on that little bastard weighs 1300 #'s? The frame is really thin, no cage in it yet, it's like a big go-kart. A stock one weighs just over 2000 lbs, this one is pretty stripped. You also forget that Ryan is a Powerlifter *****!! Fred and his buddy used to pick up the back end of my dad's 71 Chevy and move it around back in their prime, Ryan's only a year or two past his prime!! :flipoff2:

the 2300 figure was for a complete sammi. i didnt think about it being incomplete.

let me rephrase- who has the lightest rig that is in ready to wheel trim? i think we've established that the burb is the fattest.

I weighed in one time at 9K fully loaded - full tank, tents, ice chests, tools, and other general **** I probably didn't need at that exact moment.

Less crap in the back means fewer things are rocking around making noise.

before the bronco got tore apart it was at 6700, but now with the bigger axles and tires and extra case and ect who knows how much it will be... but it wont meet the criteria as a working rig for some time

I need to get over to one of the scrapyards and see what mine actually weighs. I am thinking less than 3k though, at the most.

EB weighs around 4000lbs plus or minus depending on if I have the spare and toolbox loaded.
