cause it seems people are so hard up for the better 4x4's, they won't let go of it for any less $5000 these days. until i get a job, i have to contend with the fact of owning a dirt bike for now. my '70 camaro is still sitting in galveston where i towed it to last. but seeing as i'll never have time to play with it, i was hoping i could trade it for something of equal value, like a running motor bike. i don't know that much about them, but i could prob use it for a couple purposes.

does anyone know where to shop for used dirt bikes. if so, what's a reasonable price for something like this. running is all i ask and maybe a little rust.

Check the local papers. Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, etc. I used to have a '95 kx250 motorcross bike that we got for $2500 and it was in very good shape and VERY fast. What excactly are you looking for?

Are you looking for a trail bike or a motorcross bike? A cr is a motorcross and i'm not trying to keep a sale from ben, but it would be hard for a beginner to learn how to ride a motox bike on trails. If you are looking for a trail bike, i would go with a honda xr, suzuki dr, or just about any four stroke. :D
