Ive been working on the Jeep the last couple of weekends, new throw out bearing, u-joints, etc. but now I have a new problem.

The last couple of times that I started it, it was running REAL rough. It wouldn't even idle. Sharpe came by and checked the codes and there was a bad temp sensor. I was fixin to leave to get the sensor, but today I started it again and noticed that only one of the 2 injectors are firing. Is there a way that I can test it it see if it is getting signal or to see if it is clogged up??

did it sit for a while? tap the injector with the handle of a screw driver. it'll start working again, probably.

not sure about TBI but most FI systems can be checked with a noid light. pretty sure you can borrow them from the parts store and plug it into the harness. if it flashes then the signal is fine.

BMFScout

The 5.7 ones are probably too big, I've got some out of a 4.3. It may not matter, a 5.7 one is probably better than a fawked up one. I'm not doing anything with them, PM me your address or post it here and I'll mail 'em out tomorrow.

yeah its a 4.3, but I thought nick said that he put 305 injectors in it, but I am not sure. I know you can run 454 tbi on a 5.7.

savvyaggie

Ill just stick with the 4.3 ones

Fredo

I've probably got a set of 305 ones too. If you already have them out, get me the numbers off of the tops of them, or if they have the paint markings still, tell me what they are.

You owe me one. Not for the throttle body or the postage, but for having to stand in line at the post office. There was this girl in the front with a nice bobo, and I guess it was cold or something b/c she kept shaking it around, so that was some consolation.
