yep but if someone had one sitting around that they wanted to get rid of that was just taking up space in a garage that would be cheaper and everyone would win

I think we may got one. How much you looking to spend and I will talk to the guy that owns it, is only two years old. You could probably pick it up this weekend

this thread may have been more effective in the winter, not a whole lot of people in tx want to part with an ac unit in the summer, especially not for cheap.

alright i just talked to him, it is a BIG window unit meant to take care of a living room but still fits in a standard window. Has the little electronic temperature read out and a remote. Has all the trim pieces and has been well maintained since new 3 years ago.

He wants 40 bucks for it.

i'll take it, you didn't say if it was 120 or 220, i really don't want to deal with wiring a 220. if its 120 i'm all over it.

This guy must live at 804 san benito. That place had the best AC unit ever.

There is an a/c shop right near your house that sell used window units. Its called chris's a/c shop. it is right behind the pawnshop turned funeral home on the other side of texas ave.

I had one of them for the trailer in wylie years ago. I got some funny looks when I took the "universal" remote for the TV back and said they needed to load the A/C programming into it. :gigem:
