Yukon Vs Alloy USA shafts

Whats the best? They're both 4340 chromoly. Alloy USA shafts seem to have a better finish quality, but are a little more expensive. Alloy USA has a 10 year no questions asked warranty, Yukons a lifetime warranty on everything but the ears. Both have people who swear they are great, and plenty of horror stories as well. For the guys who dropped the coin on this stuff, what made you go one way or the other?

I regret buying the Yukons for mine - extra turning is worth almost ANY amount of money

I haven't been able to find out if there is a difference in turning angle. More would be nice, but at this point I think the yukons or alloy usa will be fine for me. Anyway, I think I read somewhere that the Moser's are back ordered for a while, and I've had 2 vendors tell me that it will be 6 months before you can get superiors again

why don't you have the yukons machined for a better turning radius? There was a thread about it on pirate

okay, it looks like I'm going to go with the alloy usa shafts since I got a good deal on them. Doing a little research it seems that they are good for 38 degrees stock and with a little grinding can do 43 degrees without voiding the warranty

oh yeah, it looks like the warranty is 10 years no questions asked, even if the joint goes and takes the ears with it
