Looks like I should have this weekend free. I know this is the same weekend as the Lousyann-munrow game and w.e. rock down in Spring but I am looking to take the beast out for a ride. I had heard mention of a trip to alto, but if nobody wants to go out there then lets atleast hit up 47. I will have a spot on the trailer and room in the truck for a few folks. Anybody else up for this? Sharpe? Cox (get that yellow turd runnin and lets go get it stuck again :flipoff3: ) ?

I would like to get some good wheelin in that day if possible. May get the parental units to bring out the H2 to get it broke in good. Should make for some good video if nothin else. I will try to bring this up again next week to see if we can get some interest going. Jimmy, Fred, get the belle and lurch tuned up and drag yo ass on down.

Flem gets screwdrivers every year for Christmas because he sees them as a consumable. I was about ready to the other night, I was pissed.

Then we'll just convince you to run the trailblazer and I won't have to worry about kicking you in the balls for a seat in the truck, I'll do it just because I like you!

I went out tonight and put a p.s. belt back on lurch and figured out why the motor was running more like **** than normal. Turns out it was directly related to why the brakes stopped working. The little vacuum check valve at the booster blew apart and was a giant vacuum leak. I'm suprised the damn thing actually ran. Replaced that and the brakes are good to go and the motor is as good as it ever is. All I need to do now is completely rebuild the rear frame structure and it's good to go.

Am I under the assumption that this is a new guy run correct? It would probably be good to have as many rigs as we can to encourage membership right? That's why I'm thinking about coming down for this. That, and getting to wheel with Eduardo. So what exactly is the story on this run and who all is going?

EDIT:
I just went back and re-read this thread. It looks like the weekend after is the alto newbie run. I may have to do that instead. Never been there. Heard its only worth going to once, but like I was saying earlier, if it's a newb run we should probably try to have as many trucks there as possible.

Alright, looks like I'm scrapping my idea. I'm not driving to CS three weekends in a row, and the alto weekend I have plans that have been set for a little over a month. So it looks like I won't be going to either one of the wheeling events.

I'm still on the lookout for something to work on. Big problem is, I've already been spoken to several times for working in my garage and making a ****-ton of noise by the management, so I don't really have a spot for a truck build right now regardless.

I've started looking for a house for when I move out next May, hope to have a trail truck by then or soon thereafter and then I can start wheeling again.

I did do some sweet muddy donuts in the Accord at the jobsite this afternoon though. The hourlies were impressed!

When are you comming down for a game faggie? Going to be in town for 47 on Sunday?

I like where I live.

I helped the cool black guy that works up front change his oil so he'd stop bothering me (by helped, I mean I did it for him while he watched). Since then he just calls when he gets a complaint about noise. I guess the Asian next door doesnt like when I use my grinder at 1 am, but it's ok for him to rev his NSX or crotch rocket at 6am on Sunday.

By hourly, I mean messicans. And they were probably thinking, "I wish that ******* would stop making us fix **** we've messed up 14 times since apparently 24' 8-5/8" means something different in Mexico than it does in TX - but damn that's a sweet Accord!"

It's possible but highly unlikely. I have a engagement party to attend saturday night in fort worth. NOW what are we doing the following weekend? :gigem: I have to be in town for Amanda's ring dunk that weekend and I will be very up for some wheeling with TAMOR boys.

Townhouse/Condo in an upitty part of Austin.

what part?

come work on my truck. i need the choke fixed, header/exhaust installed, sliders(getting them 1st week of october), a rear bumper built, and some odds and ends that need to be finished up.

then you can drive it and decide if you'd like a xtra cab or not.

you must break free of the gayness of austin and discover the off road underground. im sure you can find a shop to work in.

Barton Creek/Westlake.

I've hung out with the guys at crawltex a few times, so there's shop space available, I just like to work on my stuff at home since I'd only have an hour or so every night.

I'm down for lending a hand if you're in the area though, shoot me a PM.
