i have found a fairly good deal ona used arb locker, since i come from he land where the welded diff reigns supreme, is there anything i need to look for as far as being broken, or questions i should ask the seller. he bought it from a friend that had it in a jeep and since moved to one tons. Supposedly has about 1k miles or so on it but that could be a lot of wheeling triips if it was atrail only rig? Also, what do you all feel is he best way to run them, compressed air, arb pump, etc?

compressed air from either a york or another source. You just have to make sure that you have a regulator for the arb as more than 90? PSI will blow out the seals.

Put pressure to it and see if it works, they are pretty easy to rebuild/ fix if anything goes wrong if its that good of a deal

alright looking at another deal on a used arb already in a setup third member how do you all feel about running used gears in a mostly street rig? he is selling them for a friend and says his buddy ran the setup for at least a year, but he doesnt know who set them up. he thinks it was a reputable shop.

what does an arb cost to buy and setup? Even if the gears are not done real good, I would think that the locka would still be fine if you had to regear.

looks like a good install, they took the time to redo the ARB line, work looks clean and alot better than 4wparts did on scotti's toyota arb's
