I need a deer blind in one particular spot at my ranchito and dont want to buy one, so I'm making it. I started over the summer but lost interest. I am going for absolute low budget and will hopefully only have to buy bolts, and even that is a big maybe. In its current condition, there are over 6 different sizes of drill stem, conduit, and random **** pipe I found laying around my shop. All of it galvanized... Consider this the klogger of deer blinds. I am just trying to get it done as quickly as possible without giving a feck what it looks like. When I say get it done, I mean I am pounding pipe flatish to weld to other pipe with minimal cleaning or other fitment involved. Right now the current tally is the scrap value of the pipe and whatever welding wire and grinding wheels I have used.

will it have a heater and roll up windows...if not, it is not worthy of the klogger name.

The roof is not done yet, it will be built seperate and removable so it will be easier to transport and make. It will be about average height inside for a blind, not quite tall enough to stand in but plenty comfy for sitting.

Rowdy, back off, the title is mine!

Sharpe,

Once installed, is it going to be taller than what you have it now in the 2nd picture (yes I know it's on it's side)? What size pipe did you use for the legs, they look to be good size so it should be hella sturdy.

This thing is gonna be aboot 5' at the floor. The legs/ main frame are ~3" 1/4 wall drill stem, this ***** aint goin anywhere for the next decade or two. The legs are splayed out for stability. The box part is 4x7' so two people can comfortably occupy it.

All the ones I have built were out of some light square tube, and were designed to not be a pain in the ass to move if needed. As long as you have a good spot picked out that thing is going to be tiz-ite balla. You could floor mount an ol' ma duece and be fine. :D Now that would be the way to hunt right there.

I bet mine weighs at least 5x what that one does and the roof will be able to support the full weight of it :flipoff2:
