This is a 4.10 ratio original equipment Dana ring and pinion. This r&p is from a 93 Isuzu Rodeo. This uses a "thick" ring, which can be used with a Dana 44 3.73 and lower carrier. This would be great for anyone wanting to get lower gearing in their Dana 44 equipped vehicle without having to change to the 4.10 ratio and higher carrier. Unsure of the mileage of this set, but they appear to be in great shape with no odd wear. After doing some research I've found that this set should work in any typical Dana 44 including Jeeps (except for rubicon and WJ grand cherokee).

rear axle standard roation correct? Not to snake your thread, but the thick rubi front gears work the same way? with the 3.73 down carrier? I need front gears. That's what is keeping my truck 4x2.

rubicon gears have bigger than standard ring gear bolts, I think I also heard something is different about the pinion like a shoulder is machined differently for a crush sleeve.

If these are standard bolt size thick ring and pinions thats good to know. Makes those unwanted high gear set detroits attractive.

Yes, from what I understand these will not work in rubicon, WJ, or 98+ Isuzu rodeo. All of these have an "HD" version of the Dana 44. I looked up this year model on Randy's ring and Pinion website, and these are the same part number for the pre 98 Isuzu and a CJ dana 44.
