i'm wanting to build a traction/ladder bar for the cj before i go soa in the rear, but i would like to know as much as i can about them. i have been researching on pirate, but i'm never really sure what to believe on that sight. So what size tube/pipe should I use, how long should it be, should there be a shackle at the crossmember end, should it be a true ladder bar with two ends at the axle or should it be a one bar traction bar with only one heim at the axle, should heims be used or are tractor supply tractor joints ok, what size heims/tube ends, what size shackle, what size mounts on the axle. Things like this. School me, i'm listening.
