I found this little guy (http://peripheralelectronics.com/prodDetail.asp?strProductID=745&strSearch=pxdpgmt) and it looks to be a clean install for those who want to use their ipod in their vehicles with out having to use the fm modulator adaptor. This one is for newer GM trucks, but there are others for various vehicles and years. Looks like about 100 bones at Fry's, but they don't show this exact model on their website. I will call em when I get a chance next week.

Edit: It also lets you use your steering wheel controls to work the ipod and will retain xm and cd changer abilities with the correct harnesses.

They have one for the new 07's, just look at the bottom of the page for the application .pdf. It has the list of all of them.

I believe they have an extra RCA jack so that you could hook up somebody elses mp3 player, portable dvd player, or laptop also. This would be cool to watch DVD's on the laptop so that everyone could hear it good and not have to worry about crappy external speakers for the laptop.

I installed one from AudioLink in the SO's Mazda. I'm pretty sure they make other applications, but I bought hers from a Mazda performance site for $125. It works with the steering wheel controls and charges the iPod, even when not in use, which is nice.

Here's the link for the Mazda app. http://www.therpmstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=142
