Electric Bob was listed as a contact, so I've emailed him a few questions about the park facilites. Who is in? Who knows a good way to get there from here?

I'm in if I can work out the problems with my brakes.
brakes, we don need no stinking brakes man....
Some Krawltex guys made their way out there 2 weeks ago and did some trail clearning. Place is looking sweet.
If I can have my engine running by then, I'll be in.
yeah, as long as I have someone in front and behind me I'll be fine :D
BTW, I never realized this, but it looks like this place is less than 30 miles from my grandmothers house, and we go right by her house to get to it. I don't know if this is the quickest way, but I'll most likely go down 290 through Austin until right outside of Harper, then turn south on Reservation Rd until I hit I10. After that its only a couple of miles to the turn for the HWY 41 they talk about in the directions.

Feller if I don't get my truck running in time, will you have an open seat?
yes, more than likely.
BTW, does anyone know if you can drive around the ranch in a stock 4x4. Since this is close to my grandmothers house, my parents may come out on saturday to watch for a little while
well see gonna be close
definite maybe
It's a possibility
yes

camping is primitive but you have access to showers adn restrooms. we
split
into groups based on vehicle ability. Trail leaders are provided.
You can park your trailer where you camp.
I would go through austin on 290 west
try this link. If you put in Harper Tx then Rocksprings Tx. We are 45
miles
closer than Rocksprings but there is no address that Yahoo recogonizes.
