The only reason I know what this means is because of that cingular commercial.

This trip is huge.
My count is up to 65 with St. John and his SO, and I know there are a few I am missing still.
Any ideas on how not to have a trail traffic jam? Sounded like last year there were two seperate groups, but looks like we might need more.
I'm still looking for a ride up to Clayton (leaving from CStat) if anyone has room...
I should have room in my crewcab.
Sweet.
I will have plenty of room as well in the sclade. Planning on leaving Thursday afternoon/early evening.
I think the list is updated again.
Scotti, I was able to talk my brother Eric into bringing Brady up. We were able to talk mom into letting him get out of school early after he gets counted present for the day. When I told her how windy the roads were and how late they would get there if they didn't leave till 4, she didn't have a problem with it.
Clarke, are you are just planning on riding on the trail? Or did you need a ride up there? Seth, I still think you should take the Ford, but shotgun in the F150 should be availible.
just the trail
Why are you so concerned with the weather? Last year we got snowed, sleeted, and rained on. Suprise, it's a wheeling trip in the middle of December.
I'm thinking about towing my TJ up there, for the sake of any problems I could possibly run into, I wouldn't be stuck there. Or be holding anyone back.
I have a basic little flat trailor available, and an expedition with the 5.4L and the tow package I could borrow from my mom. Would it be worth the security, or should I just drive the Jeep as is up there?
Save the gas and drive it. You have a top and heater it won't be that bad.
My vote is tow it. It's always good to have a few extra vehicles that don't absolutely HAVE to be towed back. I had to rent a uhaul to get my 4runner back from Clayton one year.
I am pretty sure the Expedition could handle towing a melted H3, which might be necessary.
Towing is safer, but driving home is more fun. I did it the first two times I went to Clayton.
Actually I only bought a trailer a year ago
05 was fun riding back with creighton. Nothing like making a bunch of drivers ed students nervous on the highway
Ya there is nothing like going on my first big wheeling trip with the 8runner (00 or 01?)(RIP) and having to rent a Uhaul truck and a Uhaul CAR hauler then airing down the tires as low as they will go to strap the front of the vehicle to the hauler to make it back to CS. I was sorry to see the 8runner pull into the driveway of the A&A that fateful night but do love the purchase we were able to make with the insurance money:)
Worst case, if I get some badass Hummer carnage on video, I'll volunteer to give you a ride to the nearest Uhaul (about an hour away, longer when your transmission is cracked - see wife's post above).
p.s. I am in no way condoning your plans for "stepdad revenge" by totalling the truck, but if it happens, I will enjoy watching.
fork it, we'll get it home somehow. :D
been there done that, now i have two rides my 07 dodge and my cj its nice not haveing to worry about finding a way home. but it does make a pretty awsome story, but go for it im sure out of all the people there you will be able to find a ride home somehow if it does actually break, you never know until you try.
Jimmy did it in the scout
