****'s broke
So did the trac-loc actually brake or was it just the bearing caps?
it might have survived
looks like your bearing caps may have worked loose. Either that or you dropped the clutch
i say that the mini spool in before had something to do with it
I'd say you did a number on it. :flipoff2:
You think something could've caused it when you were swapping out the sppol for the trac lock?
got 35s now.
so im going to hit up the junkyards on jefferson. anybody seen one with older trucks? good yards? ones i should stay away from?
try the pick and pull, give me a call if u go
We always hit Pick-n-pull, Awesome on Jefferson for the $30 axles,(although they say they don't do that on full size truck anymore) and U-Pull-It on Jefferson. I'd hit Awesome first and see if a cheap axle could be procured and then swing by U-Pull-It for ****s and giggles and then head out to the highway for Pick-n-pull. There are a couple other on Jefferson, but they speak better english and usually know what they have, and don't like you cruising around the yard stealing every fuse, relay, emblem, etc. in sight.
If you pull a 9" or an 8.8 just say it came from an old Lincoln... They won't know the difference and if they do just rattle off some spanish and look mean and they'll back down.

Yah if you arent from south texas and dont know how to properly work mexicans into giving you good deals then taking one with you is an excelent idea.
 Doesn't that constitute as forced labor? :flipoff2:Quote:
