we started a rear axle swap with doug k's ford friday and got both of them out... we need to get the one out of my truck back in dougs so it can go to the dealership and he can get his new truck... we did this because he sold his truck and it had a detroit in it and he is letting me swap it in for cheap... it better stop raining soon or this is not going to be any fun
doug's truck is back together and back on the road... i am going to sandblast my new frame sometime this week and do other stuff to it... i need money really bad so those of you that want stuff off my parts truck need to come up with the bank and come and get it.
new to the shop... i was planning on getting it last wed until my dog broke her leg... but today i went up there and got it... it even came with a handy dandy tank
thats a snazzy welder, by the way when yall bringin that back?
pfft...you wish...he said we could use it however long we wanted.
i'm confooozed about this whole thread... austin, you AND tate both helped me swap cabs on my ranger, which i am willing to bet was way more of a pain in the ass than this will be... so what questions do you have really?
i fail to see the need for this thread other than giving gay tate a chance to talk about his dog... btw- sorry to hear about your dog being hurt... remember llano when i kept throwing black cats near your tent and scaring the chit out of her? that was fukkin funny as hell. :flipoff2:
is that thing loud as ****?
I have one just like it, but Husky brand. Its loud.
its loud but like i care
Last night I torched off the coil hoops... i am going to leafspring it
cleaned so i have room to sandblast... want to start but TSC was out of sand so i gotta wait till tomorrow
try home depot or lowes for sand
alright ill go do that
That compressor is also going to be working its ass off to keep up with the sand blaster. I have a 65 gallon at work and it runs non stop trying to keep up with a small parts blaster...
You might hit it up with a wire brush on the Milwaukee in the spots you can get to.
