ahh, i've heard that before, it seems hit or miss if they fit over hubs or not
Will had them on his 10.25. he clearanced them with a grinder. They dont fit over mine because i have disc. I could have ground them more but didnt want to
If I remember right, we had to clearance the ones on Kurt's YJ to fit over a 14 bolt.
go have a machine shop cut them out for $25 a wheel.
i have a better set of wheels already... they are still on my old 40's though. Will needs to hurry up and get new wheels
awsome!!!!!!!111!!!!1
it will be fine... and if it isnt... then i will fix it... what of it
so backs done. kudos. hows progress on the front...
Did you weld a plate to the inside as well? Are there and cross members between the t case mount and rear bumper?
didnt do inside because i have some factory stuff to trim off still... it is in the plans before i finish it all... front has not been started at all. rear looks like pic... no rear bumper though
what did you do for body mounts?
They will be added to the crossmember in back
Hey Tate, selling the front two sway bar links to help out the new guy?
10-4
I am trying to figure out what direction I want to go with on the front. I was planning on doing the 3-link but have kinda changed my mind. I am thinking TJ long arm kit and use extra money on other areas of the jeep. looking at the differences I dont think one will perform better than the other. Thoughts?
Tj long arms are basically radius arms. I think they are the best compromise of streetability and offroad durability. 3 link flexes great, but isn't at all streetable
Why do you say that flem my 3 link drives fine on the street well as good as you can expect with full hydro
Why do you say that flem my 3 link drives fine on the street well as good as you can expect with full hydro
Im pretty sure your standard of driving fine and the rest of the developed world's standard, are completely different.
Yeah probably but I did say fine not good
3-link ordered. I was going to go the long arm way but called Poly Performance and they knocked the 3-link kit down to $1,000 so it should be here within the week
I've heard of several people having no issues on the street with the Poly 3-link. It would be my choice if I had a DD and $.
tera case is in. linkage is a little different between a TJ and YJ... wouldn't go into 2H with TJ linkage so am gonna get the right bracket from Busa
Tera 4:1 kit for a 231?
correct... busa's old case
crappy pic is tj one, good pic is yj one... see the difference. tj on a yj case wont let you get into 2H
I wish I would have called on the 4-link. I paid retail for it.
t-case shifter bracket came in today, picked up a warn m8000 and 3-link should make it in tomorrow.... time to get to work
if you are ever going to buy something from 4wp they will price match anything you find online. i got my winch for 485+tax
damn i phone and upsidedown pics
fixed
485 seems like a good deal for a warn 8000
Winch is all mounted up. Also got the 3-link in. Am gonna have to do some research because it isn't very self-explanatory. Pics are on facebook if you wanna see
pics
the 8000 dropped to the $400 range when the chinese winch invasion started. I'm a little suspicious about why a 9000lb is twice the price.
