whose got pictures? I wanna see them
sweet pictures, clayton get yours up.
I'm back, had a little bit more fun today & wheeled Cakewalk with Ryan (orange scout buggy). Had a blast and am happy to say I had very little carnage (broke a non-essential steering peice & busted my carrier bearing again, as well as cosmetic damage).
I will try to get my pics & vids up in the next day or two...
By the way, I had a blast and it was fun to see everybody.
p.s. No future clayton trip will be complete without a little okie-viewing at the Shorty Tater-tot bar (or whatever it's called).
and it is now a tradition to leave jimmy there while making a duke boys-esque sideways exit
aha, someone else did see it!
Wow.
Take anyone else 12 hours to get back?
Cody has most of my photos if he wants to upload them, otherwise I'll get them soon enough.
Well if you count when we originally tried to leave at 10, then yes it did take me that long. I heard 35 was "****ed up like a bag of cats" (Ed's words), what was the hold-up?Quote:

PS trailer brakes are overrated. I bet I left some kick ass skid marks on the off ramp for the exit before OSR. :gigem:
I wasn't pissed about being left, but I was pissed I missed dad raping on Austin's truck! My favorite part was the redneck that was deathly afraid of Clayton, and told me he could get me "close" to the hotel, a 15 miute walk. I had a hard time wrapping my inebriated mind around that one since we were only 4 miles from the fawking hotel! This trip was legendary, I had fun wheeling too.Quote:

Well after fueling up we had to stop in waco to drop of creightons jeep and switch riders. i rolled into college station at 12:45 am after leaving clayton at 1 pm, that sucked almost as bad as having to get up this morning and be at work at 7 30 am, after not getting to bed till after 2
Weren't you pullin little dougie's trailer? His has those hydralic brakes on it.Quote:

Is Fredo's migdet still hanging in there?
Krebs trailer toasted a bearing next to Sardis lake. Fred went and picked them up. We then let Krebs borrow our trailer to go to CS, and Fred towed Krebs trailer to Dallas where were trying to fix it up. I got to drive the Belle home, and dad towed Fred's Scout. Krebs is supposed to be coming to swap back tonight so they can hold The Krebs Family Great Christmas Tractor Move later this week. It was your basic clusterfawk, but it worked out good because now the Kingwood kids couldn't be pissed at Fred crashing their door down and me spraying them with a garden hose at 4 in the morning. :flipoff2:
In hindsight that was pretty damn funny, especially the look on fred's face when he busted through. It was like a little kid caught playing with his wiener, and then he went back to pissed.Quote:

My trailer got a flat just outside of calvert and with no spare and to much wieght for one axle i had to drive the bronco home, only to get pulled over at anderson and proceed to get 3 tickets....
That's awesome :(Quote:

So far tow rig/trailer carnage:
Me - hit krebs trash can and got fairly unnoticable dent above tail pipe
Me - freaking basketball goal gets blown over in wind and puts a dent in the the bed rail (WTF?)
Ed - ran out of go-juice
Clarke - trailer flat/run-in with Johnny Law
Me/Krebs - trailer bearing
I think we had more breakage on trailers/tow rigs than we did on the trail.
Sardis Lake is a great place to fish. So not a bad place to break down.Quote:
