Flem
I got around to testing the Chip other than the fact that the fuel pump will not shut off it will run on that chip. Its surges a little but I think the computer is trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
If we could get the fuel pump thing to work right that would be super. It also starts alot easier with the chip in the truck.
I am having some problems with my bronco. Sometimes it will kick over and start and some times it will not start. I am always getting spark so I think its a fuel issue.
Is this both with and without the chip? I'll look into the continuous fuel pump problem.
Yes robert it happens both ways. I got a new pressure reg to intstall.Quote:

Flem but checking the pickup by turning the distributor and hearing the fuel pump kick on does not work. I had to change the pick up.
I am also getting a wierd code 96 secondary fuel pump circuit. Some kinda fuel pump monitor circuit. No idea whats thats about.
I must have most of the brain tonight :flipoff2:Quote:

More little problems with this guy.
It will start up and run for about 1/2 sec. I have a error code 14 and 66. Which is the pickup coil and the Mass Air Sensor. I have just replaced the pickup coil. So I am thinking the Mass Air Sensor got smashed some how.
PIP problem seems to be your best guess, should still run without the MAF hooked up
Turns out I have 3 spark plugs not firing. This could be some of the starting problems. I guess V-5's dont run very well.Quote:
