why are you stuck on using a stud, is there not a way to make it use a two tabs and bolt.
I want that sleeper look.
Let me think about the tabs. That could be easier. You got that shear working yet?
Doable. front or rear?
don't know. whenever. i have tomorrow off also.
Came up with this during lunch, I think this will work if the gas line clears.
cut it off at the side gusset you would loose one bolt but it would look better or just make with out the bolt hole part and just weld the side gusset part to the frame rail. i think you could make it much smaller
Its that size because its symmetric. Only 3 of the 5 holes are used per side.
make a right and a left to make it smaller then it's to big looking to me
better?
much better! u sure the shock body will clear around the bolt tabs when extended? u plan on sleevin those bolt holes in the frame?
looks good to me send it to production. Do you do anything with aluminum plate?
Can u print that off as paper templates to check the fit? I didn't realize this used stock bolt holes
yeah, I was planning on doing that tonight with the 1:1 plot
Got the fronts figured out
that o-ring is where it sits at ride height

fancy
u sure the shock doesn't bottom out before the actual bump makes contact? or is the shock stock collapsed length?
not stock collapsed length. I've lowered the bump stops 2.25"
I cycled the suspension without springs to make sure it hits the bumps before bottoming out on the 5014s. I'm adjusting the new shock mounts to accomodate the longer collapsed length.

Bad ass man. I had no clue that you had that kind of defender-style seating in the back.
Cleanest I've ever seen it.
thanks guys. It's pretty bad when junkyard carpet makes the car the cleanest its ever been.
haha looks relatively spotless to me!
damn flem, that interior is looking mighty clean, i like the way the back seat is set up too, is that some kind of luxury disco-feature
What did you paint on?
Did you get the riv-nuts figured out? I still havent gotten around to ordering your jackalope shoulder mount
yes, ordered a metric riv nut tool
microspheres ceramic insulation mixed in to rustoleum. Same thing that is in lizard skin but mixed in rustoleum instead of latex paint.
blew the dash apart last night and I almost have the AC working again, the ARB wiring harness was blocking the vent linkage. Fixed that and narrowed down the AC problem to 2 relays, but had to stop working on it and watch Yu
Looks great, Flem.
interior looks pretty sweet. the kennel reminds me of SB 2k9. compressor not running?
right, comp clutch not running but it turns out the relays weren't activating. The condenser fan relay was working and I thought that was the clutch relay and wasted a bunch of time tracing wires until I figured that out.
AC was 0psi static pressure. Hope the refill lasts until September.
Next is fix the rear bracket. The alingment is slightly off.
