I was wondering where I mashed that fender in.
That's beyond mashing, Ed. I'm pretty sure that rock raped your truck's bed...
Oh no, I guarantee that the rock was the one that got it put to it. ;)
(time for a flatbed :D )
I think the stepside bed adds character to your truck... You know, because the pinched front end, chain steps, four-color paint scheme, etc. don't do enough for me.
The beast is awesome. :D
Guys- Obviously I needed to get some **** together this year, priorities are a bitch. I vow to never let you down again, I apologize.
Andy- Seriously?! Who sells a truck with a grenaded front end and no TITS system? :flipoff2:
Ed- Thanks for continuing the WTWE tradition, I was sad I wasn't there to bestow my 11 pack of Stag and the Kum & Go Koozi I had procured.

Tire Inflation Tool System.
Interestingly the stub was fine, it was the inner shaft that broke. As soon as I can get some spare parts for the detroit, it will be up for sale.
For those that remember (and care) the dachshund that Sofia had found up the mountain one week ago in Ok. has made huge strides towards becoming healthy. Took him to the vet last Mon. and the poor little guy was messed up. Obvious ticks and fleas, ear mites, hookworms, and advanced lime disease, dehydration and malnutrition (weighed 9lbs, normal would be 13-15lb). After a week of medication and good food/rest he's beginning to act like a normal dog again.
At the time I wasn't sure if taking him back with us was the right thing to do or not. After talking to the vet I now know there was no other alternative. Lime disease in its advanced stage is never entirely curable but will go into remission, spurring up from time to time throughout his life.
Almost lost him on Tues. of last week. An effect of lime disease is uncontrollable bleeding from mucous membranes (eyes, nose, ears, ex.). He started bleeding and had a hard time stopping. Spent some time at the vet again and like I said, one week later, is beginning to wag his tail and bounce around a little.
Thanks to everyone who supported this decision. Unfortunately, going to be a while until he's a normal pup again.
Congrats for saving a pup. Can lyme disease be transmitted by fleas? I'd have a hard time keeping a lyme carrier in my house
from my understanding, ticks, deer ticks specifically transmit the disease.
Im not surprised at all considering the amount of ticks we pulled off of him.
Did the vet recommend you continue feeding him cheetos?
so you save the wiener dog and not the two pits?
racist.
