It is not easy to do, but they way Ed described is sorta like I did mine. Two people make it easier. I placed the insert on its end, soaped up tire, placed tire on top of insert, then you kinda have to stand on top of the tire, balancing yourself on something, and then bounce up and down, it will usually pop right on, if you don't fall off first.

Jesus that sounds like a pain in the ass.
-
It's not so bad a pain if you just spit on it a few times...
(Mine is very easy I think compared to some folks horror stories. I have a bit more ass to throw at than most though.)
-
i just put the two halves in mine and bolted them together. easy enough.
-
You used cut down mag runflats, no?
-
-
Get full sized man tires. Then you can run them with the full runflat, no issues. :flipoff2:

some people are able to get by on half-assed. the cruzer is a prime example.
-
Please John, really? You're such low hanging fruit. I'll start with an easy one...
Some people like to fab more than wheel. Ranger1 is a prime example.

is that supposed to be an insult?

So after some work last night I take delivery of her today. I added one more thing to the project last night that I wasn't expecting, I did a u-bolt flip kit in the rear lat night, brought my shocks from mounting below the axle to above and I think I improved my droop on each side by about 3-4". I will test it out on some kind of ramp hopefully soon.
That's 14"s of sexiness

Current Ride Height, a little tall but manageable. I think the springs in the front will settle the half inch needed to make it level.

looks good, now you just need to put the new tires on it and git some good psoer shots
-
what did you ever do about that front u-bolt? It still looks bent to me.
-
It still is bent.
I am going to look into replacements.
