no
I like that bumper, it's not going away. I think it looks good and it's built to have a winch put on it. It's not an off the shelf part, i designed it and someone built it for me.
When you go to one tons leafs will be much easier and cheaper to swap in. I liked the way the coils performned, but for the added cost and pain of setup I would run leafs.
**** leafs on the front of these trucks, cooks was a bitch trying to keep it low and still have room for steering. Coils are already there, just gotta put a new axle in there, simple tommy!
I'll pay for the beer food and nos for some help:gigem:
I plan on running coils because I already have them.
Tell me if this is right. I'll need
1. fab brackets for the coils/shocks
2. weld on c's
3. extend my radius arms and put heim joints on the end
So what do you want with this exactly? I am confused why a pre-runner bumper and rockwells are in the same thread. :confused2
to tell you the truth, when i first bought the truck i wanted to make it into a class 3 baja truck. I have gone back and forth with this idea for years and sometimes it comes back to me. (just ask sharpe and ed:flipoff2:) yes the bumper was designed to look like the moss brother's but it really isn't designed to be for prerunning
1. it's not lightweight, the plate is 1/4" steel
2. it's designed to be strong enough for a winch
3. does it really look that different from John's bumper? I could make the stinger higher and it would serve the same purpose

yeah, I was just talking about the coils
i think john is just intimidated by my truck. he's worried that when i have one tons his truck will have some competition:flipoff2:............and it's a 79 so it has double the sexiness:D
Yah you and JB's bumpers are prety much identical. I mean, they both have that horizontal bar across the bottom and...and...well they both have that bar...
they are made out of round toobing too! It's like myself is looking at myself in the mirror or something.
im going to venture a guess and say they are both welded together too?!?! Way to copy him JB!
If you really want a prerunner than build a prerunner. Don't drop tons of coin on something that you don't want as much just because we think making a prerunner is stupid.
Did you want a prerunner in general or specifically a Bronco prerunner?
(substitute Baja Class 3 for prerunner as needed)
This hobby is about enjoying things you like, not about impressing people with your rockwells and stinger bumpers. :flipoff2:
