Something doesn't look right, what are the three large pins in the 12o'clock position for?

I may go ahead and install it tomorrow if I can find the pigtail that I have misplaced. :(
Yah about those three large pins...
Never seen them before :confused2
Once I install it, I will put the tester to them to see if they are hot. If so, a round of electrical tape will be in order me thinks.
Did you buy the heated windshield version?
Edit: Some quick googling turned up this.

That's why I said not to buy the heated windshield version. :flipoff2: Those are the AC connectors for the heated windshield.
Not sure what the hell you got there. Looks like they'd be for the 3 sets of windings. But I see internal avalanche style diodes in there. Any reason they would have needed low voltage AC power? Looks like you need to take it apart and investigate.
Fawk nothing I've ever read about heated windshields said anything about A/C power! What kind of AC voltage are we talking here? Enough to run, say..., a microwave?
I bet it's enough ac power to power up some twinkly lights for the Christmas Parade at Clayton...
Put a voltmeter on them before you tape them up...I bet it puts out as much power as a decent sized inverter. It will certainly be more efficient than an inverter.
If not, I will have heated seats though. :D
yeah, and that's really important because delicate stuff like christmas lights and heaters are sensitive to sine wave shape
Kopecki could run grinders at variable speed off his homemade welder/alternator contraption. It was pretty sweet.

new battery and seat locations
looks goo, how much did the seats move?
Looks like they went down about 2-3 inches.
Those batteries are going to be peemp right there. Now when I install the inverter and microwave, I won't have to run near as much cable. :flipoff2:
I approve of this thread :gigem:
seats went down about 3 inches but unfortunately they also went forward a little too. It is comforatable to drive and sit for me but the tilt steering and removable wheel help out alot getting in and out
kinda seems like the body is more just an annoyance at this point...
Hmm, strange. That page won't load for me. It's a sign I tell ya!
ok, nm, it's the x chassis. I am going to have to call a big red R :flipoff2:
yeah but that chassis looks a little small for a big motor and transmission and room for 3 or 4 people
ask Sharp if you can get a refund for the unused fender and hood pieces

Someone else likes to drive the beast
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...dttruck002.jpg
about 75% of them
hood and fenders 95% done I need to paint them and add two more hood pins in the front

Still havent fixed the lawnmower? :flipoff2::laughing:
Looks alot better IMO. Would you be able to get a cut-down grill to work?
There isn't much room between the radiator and winch IIRC. May work though. Looks alot better than I thought my forked up tube work would let it. Now just got to call Bobby and see if he will send a couple of new fender decorations for the front end since the rears are pretty well **** now. :D
