it costs a little bit more when you can't just get them to just 'work for beer', but the kwality of work seems to be a bit better. :laughing:
Hey you can have Rowdy back if you would like? Maybe I could get a little bit done on my jeep if wasn't always working on something else.
On the sliders.
I used 5 or so bolts on each side, only 4 actually hold the sliders on though 1 is just for looks. use hex head bolts, button heads look nice but get ground smooth. I have never actually taken mine off nor plan too.
Also seal them against the body with some black RTV so dirt and crap can't get between them and the body. They hold up great. Mine are still as strait as the day that I put them on the Jeep.
Well, putting one together without a press is always more difficult....and this is Jimmy we are talking about. :D
course thread 1 1/2" maybe 2". atleast grade 5.
One last question... Where do I get the angle Iron from again?
