how was the rust he mentioned? what did the interior look like?
i didnt look too close, but the rust i did see was on the drivers door, near the hinge, and it had been ghettoly(word?) bondoed back. THe paint is really faded. There is some small rust spots kinda where the tailgate meets the bed side, but not much. My assessment is that 1500 is good deal assuming the motor and trans are working properly
Interior looked good for 15 years, really not bad at all
where's it at?
can someone go take some pictures?
just talked to him. ill go by there tomorrow and get some pics.

It does look like a good deal - but it seems like in this club we can make anything a money pit to some extent

Someone want to go drive this thing for me?
Exactly what im looking for as long as the leak aint ridiculous.
Edit: I'm dumb, it probably doesnt drive.

The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.
Good
$3,870
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.
Fair (Selected)
$3,300
"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.
