Anybody have a 4x4 5 speed? I don't care if it's a bad idea or if you think I should do something else, I just want to know if anybody has a 4x4 M5OD or ZF 5 speed for a small block
good luck finding that
Just putting this out there to see if anybody has any 16ga 1" square tubing laying around. I'd probably buy it if anybody has some.
Gonna build yourself a cage? You sure that isn't overkill? :flipoff2:
i have about 10 sticks of 3/16th 1" square if that is helpful at all
Looking for 7.62X54R, don't have enough cash for a tin of it and, and champion is out of surplus, all that's left in town is brown bear at Gander Mountain. Going out to the farm this weekend and I want to shoot quite a bit of it.
Check burdets. I saw some in there last weekend
Looking for somebody with a manual parts truck so I can get a hydro clutch set up. I've got the trans, bell housing, clutch pressure plate, TO bearing and pilot bushing covered. Keeping my eyes out on CL, but if nobody has anything I'll just hit up a junk yard at thanksgiving.
Parts I need:
Slave Cylinder
Clutch Master cylinder
Clutch Line
Clutch/Brake Pedal Assembly
Metal Brace for Clutch master cylinder
Crossmember
Floor Access Panel
anything else anybody can think of
And a ford D44 front and 8 lug outers for it
Anybody have an extra AK trigger guard laying around? I need one with a mag catch on it and I don't want to pay 25 bucks for one from one of the various parts websites
I need all the parts from the spindle out from a 10 bolt, and the outer stub shafts. If I have to buy a whole axle or knuckles out that's fine, I'll just scrap the rest.
if its 6 lug, 78 or newer big jeep (cherokee, wagoneer, truck) will work too.
10 bolt and d44 outers *everything, is the same.....
Get in line, ive been waiting for the same thing to pop up for a year now. Every time i see it come around people want way too much
all the sets that ive sold i got between 200 and 250 for
Well fawk. I was looking for a cheap way to get 8 lug front so I can install my sterling and 8 lug rims/tires, but if it's that much I'll just wait until I can find a 60.
ive bought whole 8 lug 10 bolt axles for 50 bucks too. deals are still out there
I'm going to hit up the pick and pulls tomorrow before i leave town to see if they have anything.
Clarke, do you still have that dick cepek lift? I don't want to do a 60 right now so I'm thinking 10 bolt/44 outters and a lift to fit 8 lug rims and hummer radials.
yep i got it, let me know before tomorrow morning so i can bring it back to cs with me, also does the D50 ttb outers fit the D44, that may be another option
The only way to get 8 lug D44 TTB is to bolt on an entire D50 or D44HD assembly or 3/4 ton 10 bolt /chevy D44 spindles will bolt onto 1/2 ton TTB knuckles. I guess you could also weld the ends of the D50 or D44HD beams onto 1/2 ton beams but I don't see that as a viable option since it's my DD.
Clark I'll take that lift, you have a PM.
Have you asked on Fullsize Bronco? I thought a TTB Dana44HD would bolt up?
Everything I've read says the 1/2 ton and d44hd have different balljoint spacing as well as a different spindle bolt pattern.

Post 3 covers most everything about going 8 lug except the beams of all 3 fullsize ttb assemblies use the same crossmember and mounting points so you could swap an entire assembly out for another ttb assembly. Not sure what that guy was talking about with the 92+ spindles being 5 bolt. Everything else I've seen says 6 lug for all 1/2 ton. also weird that the d44 has more spindle bolts than the d50.
Also a pretty sweet steering setup.
what the **** kind of front axle is that?
Karl, once you're finished with your SAS, what kind of ttb stuff do you have laying around? I'm thinking about a spare set of beams I can plate if I ever bend one of mine, and maybe extending some stock radius arms. Aftermarket radius arms are too bling for me.
Ya, those desert race ttb trucks get into some really wacky steering.
Check this one out. :D

i had the super lift coils on my bronco, they werent bad, but no deaver coil
They flex better than stock, but they are not trail springs. They are a spring you can run down the road and not be scared of the wobble. I can tell you I can stuff the tire into my fender well. Frick had some super flexy coils, that are bad ass for off road, but scare the hell out of me when used on road.
These coils plus TTB will let you do this!
