I voted for Gilmer in the previous thread. I gotta get all the Alto bugs worked out of the jeep and get back up to Dallas at a reasonable date this week to get it all done but GILMER it is.

I am 100% not going to Marble Falls next weekend. I have been all around the Hill Country for the past two weeks and I'm not driving all the way to Dallas to pick up the jeep to just turn around and come right back down here again. I am sick of this dust bowl for now.

I'm going to Hidden Falls. I've been mentioning the damned place since last year, but no one ever showed interest in it until this meeting. It finally gets support, and the old members decide to start bitching?

We've never been there. We've been to Gilmer. Yeah , it's not in you Dallasites' back yard. Boo ****ing hoo. Most of the club does not live in/around Dallas :flipoff2:

No one is bitching about Hidden Falls. I am bitching about the late venue change/decision.

Its not that big of a deal, so I won't continue to make it one. I would just like to get a firm head count of who all is going to Hidden Falls. If I were an elected Tamor official, and was having problems getting new members involved, I would go back to the TAMOR Facebook page, that had so much early year success, and post something about the trip there.

Zach personally message (on FB) all the new members that said they were interested and I believe that is why KY, Delux and countryaggie post here. I specifically told them at the meeting that if they want to change the trip they really need to show interest on the forums so the old members can see why the trip is being changed. :flipoff2:

And I was planning on announcing the trip on the facebook page Monday to make sure nothing else changed.

Just got an email that said cooking fires and fire for warmth are allowed, hopefully that will last through the weekend. It specifically said that bon fires were not and certain restrictions apply

I have 2 girls and my roommate coming, which means my Jeep wont have much room for our stuff. So if anyone has some room in their rig or truck I can put a cooler and tent in itd be much appreciated.
