If I make it I will Jeff
Cool, have you already reserved a hotel room?
I have, Thursday to Sunday
True... some of our group that was leaving later sunday afternoon said there were a couple of guys blocking off the main road where you drop into KT's climb..you can still run Jeff's ledges but that big ass water hole will probably stop anyone from going any further...the way it looks its everything on the right side...gaspers goo, waterfall, etc...
got a friend calling Rudy today to see what we need to do to make sure it stays open
So what can we wheel
Doesn't sound like Rudy is too worried about it and thinks it will pass pretty quick?
Knowing him he'll probably go up there and tear down the ropes and chains to keep business flowing. If the chains stay, the only thing you can't get to immediately is waterfall and gaspers goo that are right off the main road on the right...should still be able to get to everything else though.
It's not the trash that is causing this, just an excuse for the owners of the other land. Sounds like they are having to use the main road as an easement. Apparently after the place was logged the owners sold and new owners are the problem??? Don't know if its for hunting or more potential logging?
The place was pretty clean this past weekend..didn't come across any "piles" at all. Maybe a can or 2 and everyone we were with always picks up ours and others.
Man that sucks. Will be sure to pick up as much as we see. Pretty excited. Jeep needs some work over the next couple of weeks.
Copied from Shain Brown on FB.
I just spoke to Rudy down at green acres in Clayton.
THERE IS ONLY AN ISSUE WITH THE LANDOWNER OF THE PROPERTY BETWEEN GASPERS GOO
& WATERFALL ALONG THE ACCESS ROAD PARALLEL TO JEFF'S LEDGES!!!!
According to Rudy, this other LANDOWNER has put his ropes & signs to far over from the surveyed property lines.
Rudy also stated that he is NOT UPSET with any situation regarding the
trash on his property. He stated that he feels that everyone DOES
RESPECT his property. If you do go wheeling there, just be mindful and
pack out your trash & pick up any extra trash if your parked on the
trail.
Rudy is not selling any of his property.
If you
do go down there and need to use the access road for a rig rescue or an
emergency, just move the ropes if possible and twice them. I would
suggest that until this LAND DISPUTE BETWEEN RUDY AND THE OTHER PROPERTY
OWNER is finalized through their legal actions, let's be mindful that
it isn't our business.
Simply just use Jeffs ledges to go that way.
I'll try to answer any questions if needed. Please share to your wheeling groups.
So basically where we get out onto the access Rd in order to bypass the deep water hole, then we drop right back in....that is where the access Rd is blocked? So it's blocked from there all the way to the creek crossing/green mamba start?
Its blocked at the entrance of KT's climb from what they told me..there is another outlet right before the water hole so we can get out and right back in unless the guy set up land mines or something
Club food for Clayton?
Since Jimmy isn't going to be there, I think I might take over cooking responsibilities for the group meal saturday night but would definitely welcome some help.
One problem I see with this is I currently do not even have a room reserved, much less a kitchenette.
I have a kitchenette as well. All the beds have already been called, but we can use it to cook in for sure
Ill help you with the food.
So what are we going to do about firewood. I have a lot cut but needs to be split. If we could get a few people to come help me we can split it and load it up. I also have 14 pallets that could go if someone has the room.
If nothing else bring it unsplit and turn sam loose on it.
That didn't turn out so well last year
I am not going to load it by myself.
One week! Get your **** together!
Not sure how accurate this may be:

Update found on Pirate...
Green Acres is still going strong. Clayton wants and needs your business. However, it is NOT business as usual at Green Acres. Rudy graciously provides the front door for crawling in this area, however, he does not own all of the land that has been used by crawlers over the years. "Official boundaries from the courthouse" have been located on the ground by registered surveyors. These boundaries are marked by orange flags and posts. Southeastern Oklahoma Land Company has surveyed the property near Green Acres and it is in the process of selling acreage to the east of this area. The portions on which Jeff's Ledges and 8 Point are located, as well as the eastern entrance to Black Sheep Blvd., has been purchased by Angels Camp. Access to the main trail and all tributary trails at the north end of Wet n' Wild is no longer allowed. Access to the creek paralleling this trail is also prohibited. ALL OTHER TRAILS ARE STILL OPEN. To keep you safe and to keep you from trespassing, we have posted yellow signs marking the closed trails and property. The yellow ropes are on private property, and their destruction and/or removal is certainly trespassing, and could be criminal mischief. Yes, garbage did have something to do with this decision. So did the destruction of the vegetation which controlled erosion. Likewise, oil and beer cans in the creek would make any conscientious landowner want to deny access. Keep in mind, since Rudy never owned this property, no one ever had permission to enter this property to begin with. If you need to access Green Mamba please do so via Flag Pole Road or one of the western trails. However, it is my understanding that Green Mamba is also not situated on land owned by Rudy, so someone may need to find the owner and get permission to continue using that area. Angels Camp knows that most of the readers of this post really do care about the trails. However, there are many (probably NOT reading this post) who don't care if they crawl in garbage, and therefore, they should go crawl at the city dump. As fellow members of Pirate4x4, we must take responsibility for policing our fellow crawlers or lose more trails. Please, let us all enjoy this wilderness area by keeping it clean, staying on the trails, and staying off of property where we do not have permission to roam.
PBB thread has maps and info from the land company.

well that sucks
So, looking at the map in the pbb thread...
Looks like it affects Jeff's Ledges starting just above the drop-in at the air strip, through the area at the bottom of 8 Point and Blacksheep (including the first obstacle of blacksheep), up to just before Green Mamba, and the access road to the east, and the crazy trails up the side of the mountain to the east. Then also the corner may cross Walter's Mule Road just above Green Mamba.
If Walter's Mule road is cut off there, I think that means we would have to go up the mountain at the air strip and come down the one where the entrance is by GM Extension entrance (Walk in the Park?) to get to Green Mamba and GM Extension?
Oh and since I always intend to print a map to bring with me but never do.....

Less then a week to go and nothing about the biggest run of the year on the TAMOR facebook or Instagram. Assuming we will see very few new faces this year.
We have been talking in up in meetings. The problem is most of officers have a SO or famity graduating. I no jeff is gonna be there with his XJ.
Looks like it's going to be rainy
So I'm bad with directions. Is the only way in up that twisty dirt mountain road and not through the creek bed? If so, with rain that road will be unusable after 4 vehicles
I gawt front locka coming in Monday. Anyone have spare 30 shafts you can bring me?
I have one side. Not sure which. I'll look tomorrow.
If you act quick. You can buy these and get them shipped.

Due to not enough time to get ready and work stuff coming up I will not be able to make it this year. I will be canceling my reservation after the meeting I am in so there will be a room available at the A&A.
