see tate....i told you so. :flipoff2:
he actually only did the back half and then started second guessing himself, thinking about going over it w/ gloss black. while he was contemplating he left me and our neighbor buddy in the garage w/ 3-4 cans of the blue....needless to say, we made up his mind for him when he couldnt take any of the blue back. :gigem: its just sparkly rattle can that, i think he got at wal-mart.
yup
I like the bass boat look, get lots of Rednecks to be like "awwwwww"
i got in the wiring harness the other day
wow. that looks surprisingly easy.
if you couldn't sense the sarcasm, you've got problems
it is a lot easier than fixing my old messed up fugly spliced into splice after splice old harness
Can't read the bags, Painless or Centech? How many circuits? :gigem:Quote:

The TAMOR Never See Trail award winner needs to be trail worthy.
I have gotten very little done on it in the past 6 months but what i have done is solved the tires hitting the leaf spring problem with getting some sexy 2" wheel spacers made at villas. I also have the np205 90% complete... and that is it i believe... what a good 6 months eh?....
I get done with my summer classes (all but an internet one) July 5th @ 9:35am so that is when I am gonna be hitting it hard.
I am gonna need some help here
- complete np205
- put body back on frame
- rewire everything with new kit
- put in interrior
- build front clip and cage
- build steering
- send off box to get tapped for hydro assist(freebee)
- retube cv driveshafts for new lengths
- buy np203 gear drive and 203/205 adapter
- get my baddood engine running(been sitting for about 16 months)
- celebrate by rolling it on the first obstical it hits
idunno there is really a lot to do but it can be easily done
i am gonna be in a appartment next year and i really dont want to take longer than nutz to build a rig... how long did it take him?
-Jonathan Tate
even though u talked trash bout my ride and i dont know u ill be willing to help, im ryan by the way
Something like 2 or 2.5 years. I still have a few issues to deal with so am I technically done? :flipoff2:

I should be able to lend a hand
well sunday austin and I got the np205 together and bolted it up to the tranny to find out i have to make a new crossmember... not a big supprise... i then picked out two driveshafts from my pile and i just need to shorten the rear one 2.5" and the front about 3"... monday i picked out the gas tank i want to use from my junkyard... i decided to go with the 33 gal because i really dont think the 16 gal will be neirly enough and how is it saving weight if i have to carry jerry cans.... i cleaned it up and moched up where it was going to go... today i put it in having to fabricate clamps to keep it in place... i found out that there is a tiny little leak in it that i will repair later... turns out that it has had the leak for a long time and i never knew it... the old skid plate was full of gas soaked mud. I am now about to either do the crossmember or the driveshafts... dunno yet... that is all for now... feel free to come by but i dont really need any help at this point
well i have the crossmember bout half way done... gonna take a grocery store and dinner break and then hopefully finish it tonight... depends if my neighbors mind the noise... i toasted the wiring to the garage plug... all the breakers are fine but it no work... chop saw takes too much power
ok i am headed back outside to finish the crossmember and start on the driveshafts if there is time... prob not
called it a night because i need to get a new chop saw wheel and it was too loud... made a few mistakes fabbing the crossmember but have figured them out... i think it is gonna turn out good
Any pictures of the progress?
i guess i could go outside and take some... give me a couple min
ok the first picture is of the gas tank with the clamps on the frame. the second one is how low it sits under the frame and the third is the np205... ill put pics up of the crossmember when it is done
you did twin stick the 205 right?
well i havent built the shifter yet but yes twin stick.... front wheel burnouts i cant wait
Are you going to hold off on the doubler for a while?
here are the two spots you hook the shifters to

ill be out in the garage working on it most of the day
i just shocked myself (220) unpluging the welder... maby i should put in a functional on/off switch in the welder
calling it quits for the day early... i have the crossmember fabbed up just need to add in some kind of bushings so the tranny can flex... i might be back out there later tonight after i have had some time to think about it or find something that will work
naw just leave your gloves onQuote:

i have the crossmember all built and the bushings picked out all i have left on it is drilling the holes to put in the bushings and the holes to mount it to the frame. as well as the holes in the frame and painting it all purdy... i need to go get bolts also... this will actually take me the better part of the day... gosh i build things slow
I think I'm coming up tonight, so I'll bring your jack by as soon as I get there. Thanks for letting me use it. :gigem:
no prob
here is the crossmember... ill put it back in and take a pic in a couple min
