I 35 is bad about em here in waco.
no, youve never seen bad in Waco. I thought it was funny when they guy at the gas station was refuling the towee, and the tower. They seem to believe that any car can pull two of itselfs
I saw about 5 toyota's being towed on 77 when I was going down to Port A over spring break. I was like wtf??? I guess ya'll don't lie when ya'll talk about that kind of stuff? :D
No its actually, "vaya adelante mis acólitos y me trae trastos!"Quote:

If yall remember my story about losing the S10 door in Houston on the way home during that trip the entire way I was thinking we look like mexicans because I was flat towing a cab and chassis dually and amanda was towing the beaten ass S10 on a dolly.
we got a note on our mailbox from a messican that wanted to buy our toyody. he left two phone numbers and wrote cash at the bottom. I'm tired of illegals.
You arent selling the kampground kruiser are you!?!?!?!?!
kopecki, wolverton and i were discussing the number of cars produced in the US every year the other day. kopecki was wondering where 15 million cars went every year. here's your answer.
My two favorite sightings so far have been a minivan towing an F-150 towing a sedan, and an old F350 hauling a doublewide. Never seen a dually have so much weight on it that the rear bumper almost drags on the ground..
I hope you all contract a horrible strain of gonorrhea.

Somebody cut this damn thread in half.
I think the best one I've ever seen, and my friend Blake has seen this at another time as well, was a school bus towing two vehicles with another vehicle in the back of the bus where the seats go. It looked like a ship in a bottle - there was no cut out section of the bus in the back where they could have pulled the car in, there was no handicapped ramp or anything of the sort. It was a bus with a small car inside it. If I could witness the placement of this car inside one of these busses I'm sure I would be completely awe-struck, but for now I'll just assume that all mexicans have some sort of magical power that allows them to transport cars into the backs of busses and live off tortillas, oranges and sardines for days at a time.
maybe they took it apart and reassembled it piece by piece
I still wanna build the school bus camper ugly-truck hauler
Speaking of scool busses I saw a convoy of them headed south when I was coming home from Corpus. Each tow rig was a big bus and they were all towing short busses.

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
maybe when I get a trailer I'll build a fairing for it that looks like a shortbus.
That would be SWEET!
I found these lying around yesterday...

red x's thats an awesome find
edit: dammit now they show up
Sorry, but that truck - overall - was a huge pile. This was part of the exhaust. Not welded, just stuck together like this.Quote:

There were also not one, not two, but three trailer harnesses snaked through the frame rails and under the dash of that truck. All of that and a few more finds made disassembling that truck a much more entertaining task.
I also have this stuff sitting on the shelf waiting for a new home.

These will probably replace the stock lower arm mounts on the front axle.

I think I got this when they first started making them and had an introductory price. Too bad it's been sitting long enough for the Corpus air to give it a nice layer of surface rust.

I can get this setup on the 14 bolt now that it's bolted under the Jeep. It'll have to wait until I finish moving, though. :(

I updated the first post so it would include my plans. We'll see how long this pile takes now that I've started tracking progress.
Dammit... Almost six months since the last update.
More parts collecting has been done. Waiting to move all my chit up north so I can get to work on it.

Tire for sale.
I guess I get to figure out how to get these wheels apart the hard way.

http://www.texasoffroad.net/albums/l...1367.sized.jpg
I plan to clean the outer wheel rings up really well and I'll paint them silver hammerite. The wheels will get a quick cleaning and a coat of black hammerite. I though about going with pink, but I think I'll steer clear of the Barbie Jeep look this time around.
Nice new winch.

If you are taking those wheels apart by hand I would like to offer up a bigass HAHAHAHA at your expense. I got 4 nuts almost off one wheel before saying **** that so I took 3 sets of tires and wheels home with me so I could use my impact. Hey if you want me to haul some stuff to CS for you, I will be returning back up there with some trailer space. That way, you dont have to drive all the way back down to CC to get it.
Oh yeah... This idea went out the window. Classes start on the 28th.Quote:

2nd: I wish you could get in to my storage unit. As it stands, I'll be going down to get all the stuff out of storage and then I'll have to head back down to get the Jeep another weekend.
Well I'll be around Corpus and Port A this weekend so if you wanna load me up with **** just give me a call and I'll just keep it at my shop till I go back to CS in a couple weeks.
I can haul some stuff back up to dallas next weekend
Forgot about these pictures as well. Made sure it was still there, now I just need to make arrangements to go pick it up. Also included the obligatory flat tire picture.
See Jimmy, I told you I had a picture of the flat tire. :gigem:
Need to start updating progress here. I'm going to work on getting the disc setup going on the 14b this weekend. The D30 also needs to leave its home so that might happen too. I don't know how things are going to get setup on the D60 just yet, but when have I ever planned things out the right way?
The 454 now lives in Louisiana with Andy's buddy - it wasn't doing any good in my garage so now I have a couple of options. I can pick this up from my buddy Blake, or I can be boring and get a newer GM motor. Everything else is still laying around, so I just need to start working and maybe it can roll around on the preferred axles soon enough.
Buy Blake's motor.
i vote caddy motor
i vote light, fuel injected, and modern.
Hey you guys should become a GMGoodwrench distributor! Ramjet 502!
put me down for one.... :gigem:
Yeah, put me down for a ZZ572/720r, a ZL1, a LS7....ah hell, just make it one of each out of the crate motor section. :)
