Not sure whether I'll be heading out Thursday or Friday. I'll be towing the CheapJeep, I'll find out who's riding with me.
Take the jeep!!! You've got like 1.5 months to get everything ready, if that's your excuse...Quote:

well turns out i cant borrow the f250 and trailer so i have no way of getting it up there, plus the last trip (the tech thing) i think screwed up my tcase and tranny pretty bad (im trailering it back home today so i can work on it over spring break). Hopefully I can make it out there with or without the jeepQuote:

im leaving friday afternoon
robbie, do you still have trail seat open? if so can i take it?
ed you sure the chevy and big nasty are gonna fit on the trailer together? im sure you have this all figured out but i dont want it to be the day of the trip and we dont have enough rooom.
Get me a bumper to bumper dimension and I will find out how long the yota is. There was still some room on this trip to have backed the chevy up some more. Can the yota be that much shorter than Big Nasty??

Push comes to shove we can load Big Nasty then put the ramps up and use the pete ramps to load da Beast.
ed do you have the pm by any chance where i sent you that stuff, cause right now she is missing her front bumper, but i can guess at it. Wheel base is like 105"
nope, sure don't. Guess we should have increased the PM limit. :flipoff2: I would not think that it is any longer than that yota, though I haven't found the dimensions on it yet either. The cheby is 18' bumper to bumper and can have 4 or 5 foot hanging off the rear, leaving upto 18 foot for Nasty. (What is the legal limit before you have to put the flag on it, and what is the limit past that?)
i think its in the clayton thread ill look it up there
ED
REar Bumper to front bumper 194"
Front bumper to center of front hub-40"
Wheel base from center of front and rear hub 101"
Back of rear tire to front of front tire 138"
We will have plenty of room then.
Alright, gf isn't going to make it, something about hawaii instead...
Anyway, I'll have a spot open on the trails as well as on the way out there. If I still pick up the camper, I'll also have room in there.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, I lied, well actually she changed the trip, so back to no open seats, and no room in the camper, unless you good with a camera...
well i'm out, just realised that this is the same day as the march to the brazos.
Yeah, that would be kind of hard to miss. ;)
especially since i only have to march one way there this year, whoop
thats sucks, although march to the brazos is a good timeQuote:

BTW, how many cadets this year, is it still growing?
and it's not so good when you have a busted up knee, two cargo pockets full of rocks, and have to carry a blown out 16" tire the entire way out there, and also help out w/ some big ass rock that some butt found on the side of the road.... I still say they go the night before and just drop random **** on the side of the road for it. ;)
assuming everything goes as planned the motor should be in next weekend, just have to wait and see if I can get the computer reprogrammed by TCC
Update on my travel plans. Right now my dad will be riding with me to Katemcy and in the CheapJeep on the trail. Not sure whether we'll head out Thursday evening or Friday mid-day. It's always a last minute thing with him.
the corps is at about 1800 i believe, and i may just go out the night before and drop some random things, does anyone think my fish can carry my extra t400 for 8 miles?
As always i need a tow
I may have my duramax for moving, but thats if ****ing CAT in bryan will call me back.
now that my brother is not going i need a ride there and a ride for the trail.
If you had ever seen the log that the new Reds would hump out there, a transmision would be gravy. ;)Quote:
