Think about that. Do you really trust a transfercase that was rebuilt by a canadian?Quote:

Yes one of the pair are different lengths IIRC.
I'll trade you rails as long as they are useable... I have the old one'sQuote:

If you're going to be replacing those wheels, I could use them.
I told jerry you'd have wood over them.Quote:

Cool rig Jerry. :gigem:
Oh yeah the guy down the street from me came over while i was putting the starter on. He has an EB he made into a 4 door that's been in his garage for a while.
The dude rode up on a razor and his first words were "OK when did you get the beast" :D He also confirmed that the previous owner was canadian, and that the interior did indeed have some animal droppings hiding somewhere. :gigem:
I think the general consensus at hooters last night was we could have the truck up and running in a weekend with this:

and krebs shift rails.
May be put the tpi in the attic for a later date.
I have a 600cfm carter in my attic......Quote:

cool, let me know. $40 for a rebuild kit beats $250 for a new carb.
There was a cat living in my storage shed in lufkin. So it might have some cat pee on it.Quote:

Etc
It might be easier to fix the FI......
****ing rednecks. Just do it right once and be done. :pQuote:

maybe I missed something...what's it lack to get the FI working?

I was actually searching the other day cause i thought flem recommended a book on it, when i found ididoth's shat.
My theory is this, when I get out of school, i plan to drop some coin and set it up exactly like i want, i will most likely ditch the motor that's in it now for a 5.3 or something of that sort. I just want to get it running now and be able to comprehend wtf is going on when it takes a shat. Not constantly jiggling wires and checking voltages on the way to work.
i dont know, exactly the problem.Quote:

just tell him you have tiger woods golf or guiter hero
Fred/Flem...
will the xxxx7747 TBI computer I have work for the TPI since they are both batch fire? If so I could bring it over and we could do some tinkering sat. night. Maybe an un-****edwith computer would help.

Yes TBI is just a steady flow of fuel. You can watch it if you take the air cleaner off.
Yes, you can watch it, and it looks steady. But if you listen, you can hear it's just fast pulses...it's not a smooth flow. This is why I thought it could be related to batch fire. :confused2
yeah i plan on getting really hammered on sat. night, working on turd probably is not on the agenda. I just went out and ****ed with it some more, the starter is a piece and will need to be replaced.
I had a long reply written, but my apartment internet sucks ass and it dropped right as I hit reply and lost it
going to tailgate tonight? If so, we'll talk
i've got some of those tpi ecm's floating around if you suspect its the problem
747 uses peak and hold driver, it might not be able to supply enough current to keep 4 injectors open
I think that kit eric was looking at from edelbrock uses the later tbi computer to drive 4 injectors per driver, but there could be some fancy electronics between the computer and injector that they supply.
don't carburete it, you have access to the Flem, use his power for good. ******!
If ya do decide to sell the TPI, ill make ya a deal.
EL BORRACHO...Spanish for "THE BORRACHO"
Looks good.

Its a manuel choke...
I think its a 625cfm carb
I will try and get the part number off it to see how much a rebuild kit is.
Also I am not sure if the linkages are set up for chevy or ford....The eb linkage was not the standard ford stuff I have seen before.
I think my sister's bf has a stock 4 barrel intake for a SBC...
sweet let me know how much he wants for the manifold and what you want for the carb.
Went out and ****ed with it some more today. Cleaned all the crap out of the back, found more rust, and located and eradicated the offending animal droppings.
Jerry, I will so kick you in the nuts if you put a carb on this thing.
Seriously. Right in the fruit stand. Repeatedly.
Get the engine running with the FI.
