Damn weddinigs!
I may still make the Toy run if others are going. I know, I'm just barely more Cruiser than Heep in reality... or Scout for that matter? :( Springs & clutch... but it's the frame & sheet metal that counts. I emailed Scott to see if he wanted to go. He's out. Rodney may be interested. Are "non-Toys" allowed? I doubt I'll make two trips that close together.
This should be a good trip indeed. I think the Scamper will be making an appearance. When I told Whitney that it's only guys and we'll be camping, do you still want to go?... I got <crickets> Well, when you put it like that, I guess not. You're in Seth! :)
I didn't even ask...I just layed down the law!
You wear the capri pants in that family Grayson!
  - I'll be sure to give you props when i use that one jimmy :gigem:Quote:

EDIT: Actually, Whitney said that you might be able to sleep in the lower area (read: fold down dinette area). You're welcome to that if you don't snore. No Brandini style log sawers. :flipoff2: Remind me to tell you about how we had to sleep in the bathroom on one of our ski trips.
Cool - we will figure it out after the break.
Don't be sad Seth, I'll spoon w/ ya anytime. ;)
Are the campgrounds you guys are talking about accesible by a 2WD tow rig and trailer? Or am I going to need to leave my truck and trailer by the pavillion and drive the Scout to camp?
yes, accessable, but you will want to drive very slow. I've seen people take campers out there.
Is there enough room for trailer and trucks down there? I'm gonna try and find a link to the camps.

can someone mark the camps on this map...there are no camps marked for the yota or Land Rover camp.
camp ecor was renamed camp mabey, thats the rover camp.
the binders camp has been claimed by the toyota people
the texas rovers site really brings out the ghey. I love the part where they had a conference call meeting for scarr 08. Do you have power point presentations after a run? :flipoff2:
PS link my RR ad on Craigslist to their classifieds ad. also if you know someone looking for series parts, SIII bulkhead, R380 tranny, series axles and parts, SIII T-case, Series engine parts, wheels, etc RR p38 tranny controller, GEMS ECU, lots of misc stuff. I'll let it go real cheap.
thanks

I'll bring my cute quiet little Honda if Grayson will bring his string lights.
not gonna make it, going to the bball game with my mom.
what kind of generator are you looking for Andy? If all we need to do is power the lights, jimmy's will work fine. If you want to run something bigger I could probably bring our 16 hp/8500 watt generator.
ive got a honda generator that set a land speed record at bonneville for its class. about 45 mph and 6 ft of air. it fired right back up and runs as good as ever.
we definitely need video of that. ;)
sorry no video. wasnt exactly expecting it.
I call BS, you took a picture of everything else there.....
:flipoff3:
I have one. I just wanted to confirm that the campsite did not have power. If it doesn't, I'll bring my generator. I need something to run a compressor, I have a couple of leaky tires.Quote:

I feel for ya though. I have watched a nice new couch of mine go sailing out of the bed of the truck and into the median on 190 coming out of Killeen once. I too was not very giddy at the time. ;)
Fred could carry my spare parts and ice chest too, I'd have my own chase truck! Awesome idea Jimmy! ;)Quote:
