(oh, and x2 on not beeing a vagoo!)
I believe I do have a buddy with a trailer spot if anyone needs it, he was supposed to pull hot pocket. But of course he is a vag and backed out.... Anyways his spot is open. Deal is you pay his diesel and he will pull, or he will just ride with us on the way up. He has a 08 dodge diesel if that matters
what can you break on a ~stock TJ that will keep you from driving home? Do you have a SYE kit? Does it have a Dana 35C?
Those are the only two major problems I see that could cause a problem. Front d-shaft, front shafts, front ball-joints are all fixed easily. Rear axle shafts, rear drive shaft, and rear axle yoke have some potential for making life difficult but not impossible.
holes in the oil pan, bent tie rod, holes in gas tank, ripped off brake lines - those are all easily fixed or rigged.
BRING IT! REAL RIGS DRIVE HOME!!!
Scott. If you would like to run some 40 goodyear stickies. you can come by and swap tire. Or get you a set of wheel for 17s and you can come get the Krawlers. Just a though.
Does anyone have an updated trail map? I think the only place I have wheeled were the trails past Slims. Is that Green Acres? How far off is Frielings?
Frielings is a different park. It is probably 10-15 miles out of town out past sardis cabins. I dont have a map of the trails but the phone number for the guy that will open the gate for you is 918-522-4244. I did some night wheeling there it was ok but Green Acres was much more fun imho.
I have an open trail seat if anyone needs it also
I have a room at a&a that i'm not gonna need if anyone wants it.
Truck won't be done by then, even though it will be close. Also, towing something freshly built 8hrs away to test hasn't ever worked out for me in the past.
I'm gonna save my vacation days for a January trip.
