A new radius arm bracket will be made about 18" behind the old one.
Travis, it looks like the r/a bushings are a two piece with a metal sleeve. We need to hit out the sleeve and pry the bushings. The trailmaster kit is $50.

I still say weld the new mount with the old ones in there and if they make it, then cool, if they don't then replace them.
Ahh, much better with explanation.
Check out 80 to 96 radius arm bushings, I think they are $14 bones at the part store, atleast they used to be back in the day.

Good site for fastener strengths
You mean kind of wire wheeled and wiped off?
If you shake the camera enough no one will see the shoddy workmanship :flipoff2:
here's the cheap way to do it.

I think you got it confused...
Haters
Dumbass
No matter what I do ill catch **** for it. I really don't care if you like my diff cover, I like it and that's all that matters. Would I paint every other leaf on pigpen silver, no. Would I put a huge warn sticker on my hood, no. Would I put naked lady rock rings on my truck, no. But I know that's your vehicle and you can do whatever you want to it to make it how you like it. If you don't have anything constructive to say in my build thread don't feel like you have to contribute just because you like to troll me.
My big warn sticker was free, and it took about 15 seconds to slap on the hood. I called you a dumbass just because you actually use the term "haters". While I don't see the point in spending that much time painting a diff cover simply to bash it in on the first rock you overlook in the trail, I do commend you on doing a halfway good job painting it. Now if you could just learn to take a picture, then maybe we could tell what was going on with the build.
Got tube for radius arms so it should start moving pretty quick

So I have all of the materials to start the front.
Cool beans Tommy. Glad to see you are actually making progress with it.
why the reducers?
I don't see any reducers, tommy is innovating the use of high missalignment heim spacers.
i.e reducers... Wasnt the whole reason he decided to go to hiems was to use the largest bolt possible?
It came as a kit. I'm not sure if i'm going to use them. Without them it's a 1" bolt, with them it's a 3/4" bolt. It gives it 34* of rotation with the high misalignment spacers.
If you are worried about misalignment, just ad an SAE washer with a bevelle ground into it on each side of the hiem. Also build your bracket with a slight angle in them so the hiems are centered, it's ok it took a while for a bunch of 16 yr olds to figure this out as well.
So here are the things I haven't addressed yet.
Conversion Joint or New slip yoke
-can I buy a whole new slip yoke for a 1350?
Brake Lines
-I already have a braided stainless line that comes from the frame but I don't know if I'll need any adapters to go with it.
Trac Bar
-thinking of using the stock superduty one with a homemade bracket at the frame.
Drag Link
-Hoping the stock one will be the right length
Still need to get
wheels from frick
-Ryno, do you want the hub caps?
Brake Pads
Turn the rotors
