to remove the cut the tube from the inside in 3 to 4 places with a saxzall and it should let the tube collaspse enought that you can hammer it out, oh and heat up the ouside of the c

weld bead inside of tubing. the shrinkage will cause the tubing to pull away from the c
quick question, you trying to put a new c on the old axle, or trying to use the c off an old axle?
had a replacement c that was cut off and still had tube in it. creighton's method is the winner. for the bent c on my axle, i was just going to grind the weld off and split the bent c into two piecesQuote:
