Hey I have no problem with you saying whatever the **** you want to say to me but come out and say it, like you did. I would really prefer you said it to me in person, not from behind a computer but I realize that isn't really an option.Quote:

My college experience AS I HAVE ADMITTED BEFORE went like this, my parents paid for what was on the tuition statement from Texas A&M, I was very fortunate to have parents who told me they would foot the bill for a total of 4 years. I graduated in 4 because that is what was paid for. listen closely to this:
I PAID FOR MY RENT, BILLS, BOOKS, FOOD, INSURANCE, GAS, AND TRUCKS That is not any of your business but you called it out. I did it the first two years working odd ****ty jobs around college station (ie- sears stockroom) the last two for my side of the family business.
NOW you really want to know what the fudge I do?!? My parents started from nothing as you said (I am an only child who grew up on a ranch tending IT while my parents busted their asses to make sure we had food on the table and bills paid for, and I am grateful for them for that). At 14 I started working for the company part time. At 18 I was put on the books as "shareholder" so that my parents could solidify something for me. I saw no benefits, no pay, no nothing from this except the work I did for them each summer, but it was on paper as me owning part of the family business. Two years ago I had an idea to expand our business plan, a new side of our Insurance Replacement business that was a pure evaluation side. We would evaluate product on an insurance claim for a fee. I marketed to a couple of company's that summer with the permission of my parents and it was a surprise hit with one of our clients, Safeco Insurance. They enacted a "pilot" evaluation program with us and my parents graciously allowed me the opportunity to run this new division of our company. I ran it from College Station by working over the internet. For the first year I evaluated every test claim they sent over and was paid per line item I evaluated. It was enough to pay the bills and save some money up. Last summer after a lot of hard work on my part marketing to their claims managers, regional managers, and large loss adjusters, we were given the contract to begin evaluating ALL their claims for them. I worked and supervised the claims from College Station managing a team of 3 evaluators based in Dallas in our office, and that is when I bought my truck. After I graduated a little over a month ago I came back home after turning down a job offer in Houston to come back and try to give a little something back to my parents. They want to retire within 5-10 years and don't trust anyone else in this world. For all they had done to me I thought it would have been down right selfish not to come back and help them out.
Currently I have started another "pilot" program with the state of Florida's insurance company, Citizens, and hope to get that fully up and running in 6 months. Because of our new evaluation division our net profit doubled last year and if we are forecasting correct will actually triple this year over last year. THAT is why I am throwing some money into my ****ing hobbies.
Our company is Replacement Source of America, d.b.a. ReSource. We do about 8 mil in sales each year and we are still striving to improve. We are currently hiring Inside Sales People and Evaluators and even looking for a new receptionist/data entry person so if any of you ladies want to come work for us, just give me a buzz or send me a PM.
You want to call me not a REAL business owner, trying working from 7 AM to 7 PM every single ****ing day and most saturdays because your damned employees are morons. You know plenty of REAL business owners then you know what a pain in the ass small business is and how it goes up and down and how you better enjoy the good times while you have them. You know plenty of real business owners? Then you know how if feel about how hard I have worked these past two years to make sure something that I have invested so much time and effort into doesn't crash and burn and lose our entire family business our very best client.
Sorry for the rant guys, especially my brothers that actually know me down in College Station, that are having to read this ****. I don't like hearing **** from people who don't even ****ing know me and want to make assumptions just because they saw some rich kids in college squander away everything mommy and daddy gave them. I am also sorry to have written such a LONG post and I really didn't want to get into this. To everyone who has never met me or had a beer with me and doesn't like me for actually throwing around the idea of something incredible and wheeling something that yeah cost more than 10K, you can kiss my ass.
I was supposed to go wheeling this weekend at TX TTORA Takeover too. But no I had to come into work today to fix a claim, and make sure my marketing trip to Tampa this week is going to go smooth.
I don't know you all that well man, but I see no reason why you need to defend how you make your money, or how you spend it.
