So I am in OKC all week and it's been pretty interesting. Power was out in all but the downtown area (where I am). Tons of trees down from ice weight. Huge icicles everywhere and 1-2 inches of ice on flat surfaces. Got lots of backwoods types that evacuated to the hotel I am in (makes for some great late night entertainment in the lobby).

That said, it has warmed up today to mid 30s, much of the ice has already melted, and people are starting to go home. I think things will recover greatly by Friday & couple that with the fact that Clayton is further south, I think we will be fine. In fact, I think it will be warmer than in previous years...I just hope it doesn't rain. I'd personally rather it be 20 degrees colder than be wet.

finished the ice chest mount in Lynda's Jeep. Finished the rear axle swap in the Patrol.

Still to do:
cut, reflare, and redo rear brake lines after rear disc swap.
bleed brakes
fill rear diff

get trailer, load, pack all kinds of crap - that kiddo requires a bunch of extra stuff...

I might be carrying Jake again :rolleyes: - so someone else might get to drive the Patrol for me...

grandma doesn't produce any milk... We're going to have to layer him up pretty good.

Interesting how different the weather.com and wunderground.com forecasts are. Either way it looks like it will be chilly.

I'm making a list of stuff to pack, any suggestions? Tryin not to forget anything here.
