Let me guess. . . he thought the 'trail fix' from Alto would hold, didn't he?
It twisted on the dent from the campground front dig. Slim built me a new one pretty quick
Pretty epic trip. Great turnout. Great weather yesterday and today.
Lessons learned in clayton:
- bronco needs steering
- bronco needs traction aid
- jeep < tree < cooks truck
Already planning for next years trip :gigem:

Pictures uploading now
i broke both stubs and a pair of hubs, that and i already started tearing down the blazer for the new build
What a great trip. Seth told me he counted about 40 last night. 23 WTWE gifts. I would guess 15-20 rigs??
I hope alot of the newer guys were able to see past the wheeling and get an idea of what the club is about.
The Bronco did pretty much everything I asked it to do. I am not sure what the next step will be.
The weather sucked Wednesday night and all day Thursday, but was great Friday and Saturday.

Lost trailer bearings on one side 30 min outside of Clayton. Chained up the axle and made it to franklin to shoot pigs at Travis' farm and t
hen the other side did the same thing. Dropped it at the farm. Almost home.
I think you lost more than just the bearings on that one!
Klogger report - Friday I shatted a distributor within 10 minutes. We left it to go wheel with other people. I was able to source enough parts to make a distributor and get it running at about 2 am with Fred's help. Saturday wheeled all day, and then around 4:30 I shat an idler pulley on the serp belt. I left it and later drove it on the trailer. This morning I noticed I broke a leaf spring center pin also.
While it was running, it did well for the klogger.
Bastard worked great besides debeading a tire within the first 20 minutes of wheeling because I aired down to far.
After fixing that with the help of the most notorious chevy tire deflator in the club it went up everything I pointed it at.
Cardoc is going to love that Tommy. What does a new axle cost?
I think it is under $150 for a 3500 # axle. Call Trailer wheel and Frame in Houston on 45, they are cheap.
Actually we called John before we left because it looked a little crooked. John came over and took the hubs apart and said that they were fine.
I'm glad that I did that because it at least showed them that I was paying attention and trying to take care of it. A new axle at tractor supply is only $160. I'm willing to buy him a new one because it did happen while I was using it.
We weren't overloading the trailer, and the bearings had been repacked by John in the walmart parking lot before we left. There is no reason why the bearing should have gone out, I think that all of the grease came out because it didn't have any caps on it and toasted the bearings. Or there was too much grease and it held in all of the heat.
Well I played a little hard on Wet & Wild yesterday before heading back to the trailer. Pulled it off the trailer today and both of my autozone blocks on the back axle sheared off their center pins and the axle is tilted upwards
