Happy birthday to me

Craftsman cordless impact. 200 ft/lbs.
I'll mainly use it for trail repairs, tire changing ect. I rotated the jeep tires with it today. Seemed to do pretty well.
It was on sale for $99. Regular price was $140.
I have the small impact driver from craftsman, I like it, if you can afford the 19.2 lithium battery it is bad arse.
not a 79 but if you're still waning to ruin your bronco

Viva la Bronco Deuce!
Gonna have this ****box ready for Clayton?
yeah, working on finding an open rear carrier to weld, and I hope I don't **** anything up on the baja course.
just weld the limited slip
creighton, how do you weld a limited slip?
pretty close, limited slips still have gears just weld everything in one piece.
Called smittybilt and bitched until they agreed to send me a new one. Since my bronco is more of a tow truck at the brth workshop I can't deal with this ****ed up winch anymore.
I sense some big changes in the bronco this semester...........they're secret though. So don't ask
fag.
bryan scrap yard?

God I'm bored. I'll never do a 4 link on the front but I made a truss anyway.
Maybe i'll make one for the rear that i'll eventually use.

Sexxxxyyyy

Designed my new dash today. I'm going to redo all of my wiring because it's a nightmare from my "modifications" when I was 16 years old. When there are wire nuts behind your dash it's time to start over.
I'll be using this wiring harness

New headlight and wiper switches
and this 12voltguy panel

The frowny face will have some led lights behind it and will be the check engine light.
keep in mind the bezel diameter when you place the gauge holes. If that is to scale then most stuff won't fit.
Also, try using the sheetmetal package when doing sheetmetal things
Good Call. Didn't even think about that.
i've never experimented with the sheetmetal program. I figured this would be easier to send to Hughes Fab for plasma cutting.
It's 3/16ths aluminum.
Ok redid it in sheetmetal with 1" of spacing between the guages. The dimensions are all right except the arc radius on the corners. I need to get back to measure that.

Based off this switch panel $120

don't run an ammeter on anything modern or that has modern **** in it, unless you like fire
go with voltmeter
I'll probably put a air/fuel ratio guage there instead.
I'm going to make my own rock rings. I'm sure I can have it done for less than vendors on pirate
http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/x...V/RockRing.png
They'll be silver, you can't see silver that well on inventor though.....maybe white
How about a clock or thermometer? Something useful. An a/f gauge is not useful unless you're in a piston driven airplane.
Trans temp
Does your bronco have a trans cooler on the radiator?
Yep but its not that good. I know I have gotten it too hot a couple times
Just put a voltmeter....
x2 on pbb vendors vs. sourcing it yourself. Might be worth a try and would be nice to find someone 'local' with a table.
Hughesfab has one I think
Weston has a plasma table, no? Not sure if he is looking for sidework though.
Also, I know a company that has a waterjet, but i am not sure it would be economical.
River city steel in SA usually has nice big pieces of 1/4" plate in the scrap pile. Normally about double of scrap price, so about 25 cents per pound. I stock up when I haul scrap, they usually have 10ga to 1" thick pieces between 3'x4' and 8'x10' in size.
Rick Mar
Ruh roh raggy........for real this time after some caliper grinding.:gigem:
http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/x...IMAG0080-1.jpg
It seems like bronco's in this club have a hard time holding onto shocks. :flipoff2:
http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/x...IMAG0083-1.jpg
I can't tell whats happening in that picture
Looks like TSL's? Are you having to do caliper grinding because they are a 15" rim?
I think he grinded down the calipers for them to fit. The ruh roh is probably for the parts that he's about to break now. :)
