We're still in, should be the first pull with the new Dodge. Just got the gooseneck in today and wired it all up.
Doesn't look like I'll have the Fab Fours bumpers on my then, next weekend is a family reunion and still trying to aquire a toolbox to paint at the same time as the bumpers... Still have to work on both of the toys also...
So, looks like we are still in depending on how little Jake feels today. He was running a slight temperature and screaming alot yesterday...
That being said - I have a spot on my trailer and a seat in the Dodge. Can't be too much of a hassle for me though, we need to minimize the "stuck in baby seat" time for Jake.
we are about to pull out see y'all there
We're out. No time lately to work on the rig. Need to take care of some things in town. Have fun.
all loaded up and ready to go... It is Homecoming game at wife's work so we won't leave till late tonight or early tomorrow
We decided to flat-tow the jeep because it doesn't have enough room inside for our crap, so I have the welder, torch, ect. aboard also just incase someone needs it. this is probably a good idea because seems like every time I took a rig somewhere without a trailor it came home on one.... see ya when it burns!
Had a great time... glad I towed it because I smashed a hole in to oil pan... I am impressed with the KM2's and the front locker... will get picks up later
damn you must have hit it hard, ive beat mine up but never put a hole in it
Pictures damn it
it isn't too bad, I am just going to drop the pan and weld it up
We had a good time. I will get some picks up as soon as i can.
I did not brake anytime but the wife broke a rear 44 cromo shaft and found out the other one had twisted splines. Also broke a front 44 yukon stub shaft. Have not taken the front apart yet but i think that is what it is.
some picks
a few more
Lynda's Jeep did good. Just a few more scrapes on the underside - no real damage.
So - we were sitting back at camp drinking some frosty adult beverages when we watch the "big boys" pull back in (47"+, rockwells), one was being pulled back.
Heard him start the engine to pull up onto the trailer, saw the smoke and had to take a look. They mentioned that he rolled it over and hydrolocked it but also mentioned that he got it started and it ran fine for like 20 minutes after the roll. I just like looking thru one side of the blockand seeing light out the other side...
