What kind of wheeling is this? Ill probably end up going, but if I do I'd like be there friday-sunday.
Gilmer is actually somewhat more organized than Alto. In theory it is run by the state. There is an old crotchity man at the entrance that no one likes (yes I know this is a public thread, I don't care if people read it). Other than that the campsites are decent, bathrooms are clean. As for wheeling it is hill climbs like the ones at Alto, but better. There are no mud pits. Trails are named, labeled, and have ratings in front of them.Quote:
