Ok, it's a been a little while since the last update. I also kind of have mixed emotions about my little project in light of current events, but I think I will press on. Everything is together and it looks pretty badass for a $500 bike, with another $400 or so on top. I redid the brakes, put on the new Bridgestone spitfires, and burnt the piss out of my leg while trying to take it for a test ride. The thing that made me madder than smelling my own burning flesh though, is that somewhere in the buildup the gas cap disappeared. That is $60 I didn't want to spend, but hey at least it will be bling now. I still have to get insurance, registration, and a motorcycle license. The motor makes some interesting noises at idle, I think the clutch may slip a little, and I am sure the carbs need to be redone, so I will have to work on that. I want to ditch/modify the geeky turn signals, and try to update the brake light, but I am trying to be done spending money on it for awhile. I will post some pics tomorrow.
