I was just gettin ready to pm ya about that. ;)
Ed, add Lance Long to the needs space list.
If you don't know him, he owns Creative Audio in Bryan and he was on the last run of 8runner in Clayton a few years back.
will do.
Just dont run on the roof of the motel. Cant afford to have that happen again and dont look in an unlocked motor home:gigem:
I appreciate the offer & may take you up on it. It kind of depends on my vehicle situation - if I end up with a badass new tow vehicle, I'll probably take it, but I likely won't have it yet.
That said, if we really are going to plan on this we need to hook it up here in town and see how it really tows. Despite what I said above, there really isn't much difference between your max capacity and what this weighs, and from past experience, when you get even close to max capacity towing can be stressful and take some skill. Have you towed with the H3 before?
Can't be any worse than yanking it behind my red flatbed. :gigem:
Anybody heard from my favorite professional welder, Jabnasty???
I sent him a message about it, we'll see.
Whoooohoooo! Grandma is going to babysit for the weekend:gigem:
YES! Drunk Lynda is awesome!!
(not that sober Lynda isn't fun too...) :gigem:
Schweet, and Sweet!!!
I just need if our boy is gonna make it so I can make sure I leave enough room for the welder if not. ;)
I was kinda hopin to put it up under the gn in the bed if it will fit. It will have a harder time 'walking off' if I park right.
That or just put it in the back of the beast. On Board Welder!!!
is it a yj or cj windshield?
I've still got my CJ windshield sitting around. the bolt flange things are in different places, they use different seals, and there are defroster ducts.
It's a YJ - I have a new frame, just have to fix some of the dents that it came with from shipping and then paint it.
well if you've yanked someone out with a chain you're 3/4ths of the way there!
I agree with Jerry, I think you are ready for the big rigs. Hey if you guys want I will see if you can borrow my friend Ron's Death Trailer.
The Death Trailer fish tails if you just look at it. I once launched a 1990 minivan off the back of it. It is super sweet.
Anyone have some floor space????
Will have a few open seats in the dodge & bronco if I can get a rear seat by then
ed, add this on to the first thread:
cory bickford is going with his white cj5 and his friend craig from back home will be towing cory and his own jeep yj, dont know when they are leaving, they have a room a the AA, and they may have another spot on the trailer, i think it is a 40 foot gooseneck
Ive got a spot im sure for ya rouse
Hey Ed...I should be in...still trying to figure out when I'm leaving but planning on most likely Thursday night, stay in Dallas and then roll in Friday morning...will also have one open trail seat at this time...
Im interested in a trail seat and a bed...
i call cjs seat, we can split the room
no, it's just a 'one seater'...
I am pretty sure I am in. time to call the A&A....:D
yeah, um good luck with that...
