I'm back
Excellent...
Edit: I did not do donuts in your front yard
Ok, so we need an 8.8. Much better axle anyways.
What gear ratio?
Hi my name is Evan and i like to break other peoples sheet!
Don't know the gear ratio but I'm guessing that the front wasn't the same as the rear anyway. The front is a tj dana 30 so 3:05 or 3:55?
Find a 9 inch and buy the 44 from my bronco. We have a plethora of parts for the 9 including 4.11 gears which my 44 has. Fix this problem and upgrade.
You can have my 9" and extra shafts for 2 cans of copenhagen.
That 44 is mine!
Pay up bitches :flipoff2:
I was waiting to see if that f350 would pan out.
A 44 is not really much any stronger than the TJ d30. Back in the day we ran very hard trails with TJs on 35s and had little front axle breakage. I imagine this thing would work the same. Just put an explorer 8.8 in it, bonus is that it just bolts in. Costs about $60 for the stupid driveshaft flange adapter thing. Axles still available for $100 and under. If you're lucky the d30 came from a 4 cylinder and has 4.10 gears.
Can I suggest "rear TTB"
just go move the nine inch thats in front of the garage underneath that thing... should be a "bolt in" swap
Leaf spring perches are too wide
so why cant you magically attach spooby's spring perches onto your axle?
5x5.5 lug pattern won't match
And you robbed all of my parts off that 9" plus I don't know what's ****ed up inside the carrier
Sam find a day when one of the pick n pull yards is having a half off sale and get an explorer 8.8
what rear axle ratio did we find it to be?
3.73 I think
Please make sure this pile is at tcc. I really see no excuses, but am fully expecting them
It won't be at tcc.
Why?
Because Sam owns it...
If I front you the money, will you stop making excuses??? :D Just kidding... I know how it is man.
Money is the lamest excuse, it needs a $50 dollar axle...
The problem is that Sam is new to being an alcoholic, so he can't save any money because he spends it on mikes hard lemonade.
