can you really "upgrade" w/ road hazards
unless theres more than one discount around i think it'd be hard to get away with that
now i am not saying it is common practice but i think austin did that twice, once when going to 35's-37's, then again to 40's
no that is not a true statement.... first of all he never had 35's, he had 33's and then went to 37's. his 33's had plenty of tread on them and they bought them from him and that went toward his 37's. His 37's were totally bald and went to the dumpster. He bought his 40's at shop cost at the off-road shop he works at. thanks and gig' em
discount will buy your tires back if you dont like them, or want different ones??
ah ok i stand corrected, i guess someone miss informed me
they will buy any tires almost to get you in a better set. they sell used tires too... all you have to do is ask what they have. I got good money for my bald stock tires and rims just because he wanted me to drop the money on the new ones... i was pleased in the deal and they were willing to take a little loss in profit to still make some
hmmm..
Discount will hook you up. I think the CS store does the most buisness in the entire Houston region. But any Discount will deal with you if you talk to them. Beat this deal....285/70/17 BFG ATs with full road hazard, mount and balance (and of couse lifteime mount/balance/rotate) and tax.....$800....all because my family had a history of buying tires from them for like the past 10 years
cutting a tire to get a new one is pretty shady, but I would bet they would look the other way.
I've had better luck with Sams Club than Discount.
see, Discount will always beat sams clubs price if you take them a printed quote.
And there are alot more Discounts than there are Sams so it is easier to get rotation/balanace/ replacement
Another good trick is to go to tirerack.com They are usually real cheap, but the price does not include shipping, print the tirerack.com price out and typically discount will beat it. The main thing is never pay what Discount tells you to. There is a ton of mark-up in the tire business. Its pretty much the shadiest business, next to selling meth of course.
I dont know construction is pretty shady :gigem:Quote:

So moral of the story, pop it with something blunt, like a triangular piece of steel.
I wasn't talking about cutting the sidewall of the tires. Just make a small nail sized hole, an ice pick works well for this. I have never had them question anything about getting a new tire from them, they have always been real good about helping me out.
there it is again!Quote:

We got some crap done on Cook's truck. We got the frame rails straightened out on the front end, replaced the grill, replaced the bumper, and fixed the hood alignment some.

Holy crap that looks much better. Nice job on the paint too.
what are you planning on doing with the bed? you might have said already, but i dont remember and dont feel like reading back
i think a bob would look sweet
should take it off and do a flat bed.
trying to decide what im doing with the bed. right now im thinking about leaving it on for awhile and seeing how it does. its already fawked up so whats a few more dents. i have another straight bed that i can put on when i want. or i can do what will said
im not going to bother with bobbing or dovetailing or doing any shat like that because this bed is already dented and has rust holes. plus i would not be happy if spent all the time on that crap and then hit something and **** it up
I think the paint turned out nicely. :flipoff2:
asshats
love the paint job
*****es.
I was extremely impressed that you actually sprung for grade 8 hardware....don't get me wrong though your still a joo.
got the lift finished on the front except for the shocks. coils in, 78-79 steering in, track bar drop bracket in.
need to get shocks and do the shackle flip in the rear
Pics??? I gotta see this...You should just leave it like that and look all Cali style. :flipoff2:
it felt like i was driving a pogo stick down the street
You actually drove it like that? That's fawkin' awesome! :gigem:Quote:

I don't think you have cut any corners at all on the ford, I actually like it.
I really dig the ford too, it's cool. I just like to give Robert a hard time
