What I do in the evening in my personal time is my business. Do I come to your house and throw rocks at you while you wash the Camaro in your speedo?

Very clean, but very tall. Is the BL still on? Seems like it would sit perfect without it.
looks good...
it is starting to look exactly like Austin's truck. i hope it doesnt suffer the same fate... :flipoff2:
thank you- the body lift will be coming off but thats after i get all the loose ends tied up
It is tall, what gave you the height? I measured today and yours is 3-4 inches higher than mine.
the coils, i have 6" coils
Zing!!!
Do you both have bodylifts or were you measuring the frames?
the front, i have a boddy lift as well with deteriorated body bushings. maybe one day we can knock both out at once. i have 7/16 x 3 1/2" bolts that I am hoping are the stock size.

built a new trans crossmember
got the limited slip rebuilt and installed today with the 4.88's. ended up having to get a 1410 yoke for the rear end (thanks ben!) installed the shaft and drove it around for a bit. still needs to be aligned and i have alot of little things to do to it but thats how it is for now. oh and my pinion angle is terrible for the rear link to the pics and vids http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...ry/17472/66656

Kick ass!
I take it you don't have a cv on the front of the rear drive shaft? Keeping your pinion turned up like that will really help to keep that driveline out of the rocks.
i do have a cv on the front of the rear shaft and i have a serious pinion angle problem that i need to address sooner than later... for now i think i will flip the shim on the bottom of the spring packs around to turn that thing down some
why do you say it's a problem? oiling, hitting up top, vibration?
cause its going to chew through ujoints and probably vibrate alot
http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/6...e/dsc01697.jpg
The vibration issue is why I asked if you had a cv up on the front of the shaft. With the cv, you shouldn't need to worry about everything not being in the same plane. It may be a little high right now, but I wouldn't think it would be too bad. What I would worry about is the pinion getting enough oil at speed.
right, thats why i was thinking for now.. i could flip the "stock" shim thats at the bottom of the 6" leaf around and lower it a couple more degrees. i know it wouldnt be perfect but it should make it better
It might not be perfect, but it would be a quick, cheap, and easy fix. :D
thats what im sayin, im trying to drive this thing to gilmer this weekend so i need it to be at the least a little better
'git r dun' !!!
you flip the shims and it should be perfect
thats what i am hopeing for! i woulda already started but my prof gave me a take home exam today due by tomorrow....
it did well this weekend i was impressed

looks good. I'd ditch the dinky prerunner bar thing though. Is it going to Clayton?
that's a good looking truck. I wouldn't reccomend that you take it to Clayton unless you can handle body damage.
Many of the trails there involve tight turns and lots of trees in the way...
That thing was TALL! It was good to see you, went back to your campsite on saturday night but didnt see ya.
thats too bad, i was back within 30 min. ah well, we'll catch up next time. busted my power steering pump on the night run and it took a little longer to get back than i expected.
as for body damage, i have a ton of pin stripes which i dont mind, but body damage is something i'd like to avoid for now.
i know, i already slid into a tree at barnwell i think i screamed like a girl
ditch the body lift. I know, pot, kettle.
i might take it to clayton but i think my to do list is too large to get done before then. and i think i am too long too. my uncle has an 89 bronco that is just sittin around that i think i am going to try and buy within the next 9 months to a year. we shall see. . . .
