I still am going to try and be back from Tomball by noon, leaving CS 1ish. Anybody planning on leaving a little later than the majority, let me know.
Drove it to Clayton one year with windshield, no top or doors. It got down to 28 or something ridiculous right before we got there. The key is layers, and snowski goggles. My co-pilot used a sleeping bag. Also drove it home one time in the great Krebs trailer fiasco of '06-ish, but it wasn't as cold then. Drove it home from Gilmer with no windshield or top, but that was in October, not as bad. If I put new tires on it, I'd drive that ***** anywhere. I'm just kind of getting gun shy about going 70 mph + for a couple of hours on those tires. I think it would be akin to having a blowout on a motorcycle. I think the moral is come as prepared as you can be, but know that you have friends to help you.:gigem:
yea why
