Sounds like almost every other vehicle in this club. Who cares? It's his Jeep to do with as he pleases, this has no real bearing on any of our lives and if it gets parted out or sold in six months none of us will be affected in any way. It's not like this is much different than me cutting the rear suspension off my Jeep six years ago to put leaf springs on it. It was six years old at the time, which just so happens to be the same age this one currently is. I'll concede that mine had been paid off for a couple of years and wasn't in fantastic condition, but it was still ultimately my decision to do something to a second vehicle that wasn't generally thought of as a good idea. It worked for a couple of trips and now it's a permanent fixture holding my garage floor down. Worked out great for everyone! :flipoff2:
whether or not it affects me doesn't have any bearing on it being dumb...anyway I'm out of this, sorry about last night's post...good luck with the heep tate and be sure and post pictures of the ticket after you haul this thing to the scrapyard :flipoff2:
That's what we have been trying to tell the newbies for years that the best idea is to cut up your DD that is reliable and not yet payed for :flipoff2:
Anyways Tate it looks good and I can't wait to see it in Clayton I only wish mine had as nice of a body as yours
ok, i'll compromise. you clean the paint off before you weld over it and I'll ignore the fact that you dont even bother cleaning the welds up before you take a picture.
just because the jeep was not paid off doesnt mean i didnt have the money in the bank to do so. I have had enough cash to pay for this thing from the day I bought it I just chose to keep it liquid
yes
