Motorcraft 2bbl
I decided not to sell the tbi. I'm putting the motorcraft 2bbl on temporarily because I can't afford to do what I want to the fuel injection yet.
After looking over every inch of that harness I concluded that flem's original diagnosis is right. After grounding out the check engine light at tcc last year it has fried the chip.
So, since I can't get a new chip I have two options.
1. Megasquirt computer
-new wiring harness
-relay board
2. Howell harness and chip
They'll both cost about the same but I'd rather do megasquirt so I can fine tune fuel tables with a wide band 02 sensor.
Both are non computer controlled ignition. I ordered this distributor yesterday.

Why not just get another tbi computer and don't **** it up?
I'll burn you another chip with the same stuff on it, I just don't have time to dick with diagnosing mechanical problems.
The factory duraspark is just as good as HEI, if not better. I'd return that if possible.
I honestly think Tummy makes posts like that to get you guys back interested in his ****.
Wash, rinse, repeat.

If the chip fixes it i'll return this and continue with CCI, It's almost too pretty to return tho
tell me what to look for and I will snag you a chip or 3 at the junkyard
It's a flemco chip

Running better than she has in 6 months. Back on the 2bbl.
wanna race? :D
Tommy has crap gearing. I bet if he put the 37's on it would smoke yours.
Front driveshaft finally gave up
Tore down the new driveshaft today. Centering pin on the weld yoke looks good, centering yoke is still tight. All I need is some new joints and it'll be good to go.

Chromoly?, no thanks, 300m? ***** ****. 24K is the where it's at:grinpimp:
That will be worth a ton at scrap! :gigem:
I went to burleson on my way home from the airport and picked up these, only 2 of them, but they were $50 for both with tires.
http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/x...IMAG0066-1.jpg
Then he started showing me other stuff he had for sale and I snagged all of this for $50
http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/x...IMAG0067-1.jpg
So now I have
-Half of the gears (front only)
-Half of the Steering ( need a ram)
-Half of the wheels ( need two more and some centers)
-Half of the body done
less than half the motivation.......
That's funny, keep it up :gigem:
edit- You also have Half a roll cage (roll bar)
second edit- This list can go on:
Half 42's (two bald)
Half headlights (one broker)
Half the way locked (just rear)
Half way on front suspension (longer shocks + softer springs)
Half bumpers (just rear)
I have a PSC Ram that I need to sell. I think it is 2.25 x 8"
new driveshaft is in.
Tip:
Put the caps on the u joint before hammering in the caps on the top of the double cardan joint.
